Try fishing it on a weighted hook!

Great lure texas rigged or on a weighted hook.

Shakey Head is fine as well, but the lure really needs to be moved/dragged to get the vibrating affect from the split claws.

Great bait!!

put it on a 1/4 oz football head and sloooooooooooowly reel it in while maintaining bottom contact. One of my go to presentations.

i just put one on a weighted 2/0 or 3/0 hook i had forgotten i bought them on some 20lb power pro braid :)

so do i drag this on the bottom like i would with a pegged weight on it? or how do i fish it?

This is also a good bait to fish matted vegetation. The shape of the claws allows for vibration and slides through the weeds very well. And yes it should be a good cold water bait just fish very slow................Al

great with a 2/0 or 3/0 weighted hook. swim it slow for this time of year. or bounce it...slow...

one of my favorite baits. in summer i use the bigger size speed craw too.

one of my favorite baits and it can be fished alot of ways but my favorite is to Texas rig it. Ths is a fantastic bait to pitch to a bed too!!

  • Never hurts to c-rig it either. Just another option.

ahhh this would be a perfect bait to throw in a bed

They are a great swim jig trailer as well. As the weather warms I crank them as fast as I can at times through shallow vegetation. BOOM!

I pitch these all of the time. Great baits.

These are my go-to for pitching/flipping. I rig em on a straight shank hook with a tungsten bullet sinker and 65# braid on my heavy stick great action when dropping from the mat to the bottom. Usually fairly durable. Some great colors.

A great post spawn bait. Shallow cover, hop in place and hold on. Usually a bite on the first hop!

Yes sir!

I use them as my jig trailer, swin it or drag it, my fav.
