"Bassmaster" Shallow Crank?

Featured Replies

I found a plastic shallow-diving crankbait with "bassmaster" on the spine. Are they still in production? Who made them?

Thanks

It's 2 inches long not including the bill and the eyes are missing:

Anyone know who makes it?

The Bassmaster series of cranks, spinnerbaits & jigs is discontinued as such, it was renamed as XPS Profesional Series, same baits but different color scheme plus red hooks.

Who made them is hard to tell but they looked like Japanese baits, the finishes were beatiful.

Thanks guys. The finish on the one I found is pretty beat up, but the action is great. I guess I'll be ordering some from BPS.

If your up for another round of I.D. that Bait, I also found this one at the same lake:

Several manufacturers use that body to manufacture some of their cranks, the only difference between many I 've seen is the finish and hooks. It seems that somebody manufactures the body blank and the manufacturers only paint, add hooks and label the bait with different names.

Strike Pro sells that bait under the name Classic Shad 55.

Wow, thanks Raul! FYI, I switched out the split rings and trebles on those.

Don't sweat the finish. A lot of people (me included) swear by beat up looking baits. Try it out as is, you may be suprised.

Oh I already tried it and caught a few fish with it. I'll keep fishing this beat up one but I wanted to I.D. it so I can get more if I lose it. Thanks again!
