Awesome Commercial

Who gets that excited over a Chevy?

Anybody who's had a Chrysler or Ford product. :fencing:

Now, with that out of the way, it is a very clever ad.

That is a great commercial.

How about replacing the Chevy with a Ranger Comanche Z522?

Or a Tracker????

Now that would be an outstanding commerical!!!!

Touché Tom!

That's hilarious.

Everyone knows Ford is better than Chevy.

If everyone "knew" that, then everyone would drive Fords. Funny thing about "the best selling truck" is that is by specific brand only. GM sells more pickups than FoMoCo does.

My Toyota has you both beat. I wouldn't purchase a Chevy truck, but that Camaro is one bad ride. Have you seen the ZL1? If performance matches the hype(Who am I kidding? It's a Chevy :eyebrows: ) then I'd jump at it if I had the cash.

I'd get a Toyota too, if I could get it with the options I wanted rather than to have to pay almost six thousand dollars for the package that includes the nav system I want, and a bunch of expensive things I don't want, such as the sun/moon roof, and the overhead dvd player.

By the time that all that stuff is tossed in, I could get a Denali with more goodies for less money. I like Toyota products, well, except for the first one we had, a '69 Corona which rusted out so badly that the car literal broke as my wife was pulling in the driveway. The structural parts of the unibody which constitute the "frame" had rusted out and broke between the front and rear wheels. It was the worst rust bucket I have ever seen. It was only five years old.

But we've had Toyotas and a couple of Lexus that have been fine, dependable cars.

Still, I've got over 90,000 miles on my 07 GMC and it's as tight and quiet as the day I drove it out of the dealer's lot. 87,000 miles on the first set of tires and they were not down to the tread wear indicator bars when I replaced them.

When someone spends their hard earned money on a vehicle of any brand, if they are happy with it, that's all that matters.

I am a a mustang man. But i do kind of like the Camaro's. Just no way I would be jumping up and down screaming like a little girl for that one. I hate drop tops and the color yellow. The ZL1 is a beast no doubts. Give it a year or two and you could take a stock one and make a ZL1. PLus there is roon under to the hood for a 500 plus hp ls7.

Agree.

My opinion on Chevy is based on work vans I've been driving for the last 15 years. Reoccurring issues with starters, cracked distributors, broken door hinges, defective brake sensors, violent front end shaking from warped rotors, and headlight and signal lights needing to be replaced on a repeated basis, has left a bad taste in my mouth. The Ford vans have faired better but I don't care fro the cabin setup.

Bought the Tundra new in 12/07 and it has not been without issues, but their customer service is exceptional. I got a better deal on it than the F150 I was looking at.
