That just shows us how good a (Patent Pending) is these days. You spend the cash to get one, but everyone makes there brand also. LOL Its unreal.

Bass Pro has always been good at this game. That plus buy from a company for a year or so them have the same item made over sea's without changing it.

Ok, the Bass Pro Spring Classic is two weeks from this Friday. Did any of you get your classic flyer by now?????

Got ahold of one today. Some cool stuff, not a lot of rods/reels on sale. The new Carbonlite for $110, Shimano participating in the reel trade, rods, too. $1.25 Cordell spots on a One Day sale. Berkley Havoc for $2.49 and buy three bags, get three bucks back; I'll stock up on them, you'd better believe that. There are a LOT of rebate type things this year. XPS or BPS line it's a buy two get one deal. Nothing terribly remarkable, really. I can't think of anything other than the Havok that REALLY gets me.

Looks like some of the stuff is posted online now, although not the ad itself. New Carbonlite for $90 with the reel trade in, that'll be enough for me to make the drive to get one.

I was thinking about the dates of the BPS spring sale yesterday as I have two BPS coupons totalling $30 and I would rather wait for the spring sale than go out and pay full price for some tackle I want.

I don't know if Bass Pro is similar to Gander, but there is a chance a person could lose their job if they actually had scanned and showed an advanced copy of a flier. May or may not be true for BPS, but I don't doubt they have the same policy.

Definitely not worth losing a job over. I did not know he worked there, I thought he got it in the mail or something. Last year someone scanned it in for us.

Never said I worked there, I just got my hands on one. I don't have scan capability, though.

Im going but Im sure they wont have the high-speed version 7:1 many many times I go to BPS to just leave empty handed but still keep going back.

I'm interested in a Shimano Terez rod, call first to see if they have them in stock and take advantage of a rod trade in. If not in stock I won't drive down there, I won't buy a rod sight unseen on line, without putting my reel on it.
