I went out this morning by myself to scout around for this Saturday's tournament. I had four hits and put 3 of'em in the boat for just over 9 pounds. Big one came on a black/blue jig, 6.79 pounds.

The wind was absolutely horriffic, darn white caps. We'll see what happens tomorrow and Wednesday and Thursday.

Awesome! Going back tomorrow around 7am or so with my brother-in-law. Picked up a new reel and a few new plastics. By chance, I found a football head terminator black/blue jig that I got for a buck. Will give that a shot for sure.

Guy at gander mountain said hes had a lot of luck with brilliant red colors in Osborne, especially lizards and 10" culprits. So, I got some of those.

Wind is going to moderate a bit, but pick up again Saturday. I did some shore fishing yesterday and it was windy. Last few weeks the bass haven't been nearly as hot as they were prior to New Years. Thinking I'm going to lay back on the LMB for a while.

Last Wed as were heading in from offshore the Jacks were on fire in the P.B inlet, we stopped and caught a few 10 pounders. I may run up to my Jack hole in the ICW and give that a shot a day break.

Yep, 30 bucks for tourny and it's put on by the same guy that does the nite tournaments.

I brough my new camera, the Hero Pro, but can't figure out how to work it yet. It would have been a cool video though.
