Super Bowl Sunday!

Featured Replies

If the Super Bowl were the Cowboys vs. the Titans, then maybe a country act at halftime would be warranted, but I don't think you have may country fans in New York or Boston. Also, a Madonna is going to be a lot more popular globally than a Travis Tritt (I assume there are some international viewers).

Hmm... I don't think there would be any issues with country stars. King George, Alan Jackson, Toby Keith, Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert, etc., etc. For the most part, C&W singers are solid

Might as well pick the giants. I believe I will watch th puppy bowl on animal planet though. Just cause I don't care for either team.

  • Are you shtn me? That stupid bi***!!!!!!!

i think the blue man group should team up with that group stomp, and get them to perform a show written by the choreographers that did all that stuff for the opening show for the last olympic games in China :eyebrows:

The SB halftime performer is picked long before anyone knows which teams will be competing. Madonna was a good choice, having world wide popularity and the audience extends past our borders. I don't think there is anything wrong with a C&W performer doing the halftime show, but I also don't think there is anything too exceptional about them either. C & W more family friendly.......pure nonsense.

I enjoyed Madonna and her ensemble cast, and don't recall any incidents, had a C & W artist performed I would have watched................ at least for a minute or two.
