Tim Horton has a DVD out, i think its called Stragegies for Heavy Cover.

Sam sent me a copy of this and there is some real good info about fishing mats in there.

any d**n plastic you want, I like craw pattern baits with a relatively thick body so the hook stays in there real good.

I have never used them but they look good.

those pc punch skirts are something special. nothing but results.  money maker and taxman work the best for me.

That is what we have for years called a Texas Rigged Jig; first started using them back in the mid-70s by simply inserting a bullet weight into a skirt. During the 80s a company out of Shreveport, Louisiana produced them under the name Big Red's Flying Jig. It is nothing more than a spinner bait head less the wire arm (pictured); the Junebug colored one is an original Big Red's Flying Jig.

Not only is this a deadly Punch Lure it is extremely deadly during winter when coupled with a 6 Gene Larew Hawg Craw. They are also available in lighter weights and can add rattles with the use of a rattle band as pictured to the left.

Winter in which region?  ie. Florida winter is obviously quite different than a more northern area winter.  A 6" jig trailer is awfully big for coldweather winter regions.

I think it says I'm in Texas but I could be wrong & a 6 trailer is tiny for a 6# bass

I use it to punch through the ice up here in Ohio winters.
