- Not sure on the water temp, will be fishing from shore

- Chunk rock and gravel, and grass

- It gets EXTREMELY deep

- No boating allowed so dont know about the depth in the middle

I would use crank baits and jigs from shore. You're going to have a heck of a time trying to QUIETLY fish from the bank with all that brush around. I would probably focus casting to the opposite shore with a jig and work it back to me. Try casting a crank parrallel to shore (if you can find a spot) at different depths.

You need to fish that one point sticking out...look for beds come april. Pond fishing in my opinion is different then lske fishing, not by much because bass still use a pattern. You should fish the pond the next warm day you have.

Lures: carolina-rigged lizard,buzzbait and or spinnerbait/charturse or white

Shallow diving crankbaits

When fishing from shore, its almost always better to fish with T-rigged soft plastics and jigs. This way you can pick apart and fish the good spots thoroughly. ( plus cranks and other powerlures can get caught up in weeds and cover much more easily) I always start with short parallel pitches to the bank, then i make short casts and pitches in a fanning motion around me. Then i go ahead and do longer casts. This way you make dang sure that if a fish is there, he will know that the lure is there too. I repeat this process over again as i move down the bank, I will move 50-75 feet between casting spots.

*make sure to repeatedly pound anything that looks like it would hold a fish.

i would use a pole and reel combo, maybe sum line with a hook. haha sorry im just being a smarty pants
