I'm A Sucker For A Custom Paint Job

Recommended Posts

It probably doesn't make that much of a difference and I'll never know if a bass even sees these baits the same way they look to me, but I really like fishing them and do believe that some days it might make a difference.

Any thoughts ?

btw, this is not my work.

They look awesome. If you think it makes a difference, go for it. Personally, those colors all look like pike food.

They do look like pike food don't they -

J, if you could tell me of a color that isn't pike food but still catches bass, I would really appreciate it.

There is no one color they avoid, but anything that remotely looks like a blue gill or yellow perch is DEFINITELY toast, LOL.

Let's try them!

Tie 'em up with some Cortland Toothy Critter leader, and you can "finesse" for pike! :eyebrows: That stuff has saved me hundreds in bite offs.

I do - I also use the Micro supreme knottable stuff but it's a little pricey.

I had a member paint me up some a few months ago. Homie does amazing work, ill get some pics up tomorrow. I like the custom paint jobs. Especially since H20 quit making the pattern that worked so well for me. :(
