Hey guys,

As shown by the last couple of weekends here in north Georgia, we have had great weather... during the week. It seems like we will have 3 days of upper sixty to lower seventy degree weather in a row, then as soon as it hits Friday rain rolls in and the temperature drops 15 degrees. This has made me a little hesitant to go out and try the local pond, and as of this week I've really had the "jitters" to go out and fish. Well the forecast is calling for 70 tomorrow, lower 60's Friday, and mid to lower 50's over the weekend. How would you guys fish this? Would you slow down your retrieval or would you switch your selection up?

Get out there and do the pre-spawn fishing, of course bass are gonna be hesitant to go on the beds, but they're already prestaging...follow the seasonal pattern....the bass shouldn't be to far from shallow water you just have to find them....if they're not on the beds go a little deeper...spinnerbait,shallow diving cranks,texas rig...creature baits. Hope this helps.

Im praying for temps and weather like you have down there in GA right now! Decent weather can't role in up here in Michigan fast enough! If I were you, I would start by getting out there and going fishing!! Get a line wet bro!! We just finally hit the low 40's here and I've been out twice this week! Couldn't wait any longer!!!

Probably should have know that wouldn't go well with you guys up north. I get the same feeling as you guys back in Decemeber when all the Florida guys are starting spawning (But then again, I'm sure its just as bad for you guys,too).

In Florida, at least for me, the opposite is the problem, too hot and buggy for bass fishing. I fish the "hot bite", bass in winter and early spring, inshore species the rest of the year.

Florida rule of thumb " When bass turn on the snook turn off and when the snook turn on the bass turn off".
