Can I suggest you some flashlights for your fishing outing?

Featured Replies

I am somewhat of a flashaholic ;D i.e. flashlight addict. I think when you are fishing at night and need some good and safe illumination source, you can pick up one of these:

It is a headlamp, zebralight h501 is the name. You can take the light out of its headband and the light comes with a clip that you can use to clip it to your shirt pocket for example. The light uses regular AA battery, and have very long runtime with its medium and low level. It is very versatile and can offer a very wide beam of light, good illuminating things that you want to reach around you. Here is the light at 3 ft away from wall :

Next we have handheld flashlight, some of mine: ResizeofFlashlights005.jpg

These have a longer reaching beam characteristic, good for illuminating things you want to see out there. They have long runtime when you get rechargeable battery to go with. Not to mention they have excellent life time warrranty from Surefire.

Okay hope I did not go on for too long, and thanks for looking ;)

Pretty sweet light. I will def. look into it. Seems great for the night outing or having in the boat for those pre-light tournament situations! Great product post.

I love my clip-on cap light and suggest everyone consider getting one for $10 at BPS.

Good suggestions in this post, too.  ;)

I too am a flashlight junkie but I not only use them for fishing at night but have used flashlights as part of my job (late shift) for the past 24 years. Just got this email from a police supply company today as a matter of fact.

If you want to buy one light that will probably last you forever buy a Surefire:

Thanks alot guys. I am glad I can offer some info to people on this forum ;)

I thought the pic on the front of the latest bass pro catalog looks great so I use it as the background ;D The zebralight is 60 bucks. Surefire l4 is 130 , Surefire L5 is 150, the e1 with the kl1 head is 70, Lifetime warranty is priceless :( on the caplight and surefire Saint.
