New Favorite Crankbait

Featured Replies

Today I went on a little mini fishing trip rode my ATV to the closest lake and just casted out from shore. From shore I caught 2 Largemouth, 1 pickerel, and 1 smallmouth, also i had 2 decent sized largemouth on the line and they got away. All of these fish I hooked on one crawdad crank bait (See 2nd picture). I got this lure from the clearance table at Dick's. I've never had this much successes with one lure.

Conditions weren't amazing about 4pm, overcast, breezy, 50's, water was probably also about 50 from the warm week we had. Also I was only there for about 45 minutes. I was fishing off the shore of Lake Manchaug Massachusetts.

That's why I love shallow cranks, they're fish catching machines!

There is a camp ground a friend and I go to in the summer time that the clacking crank destroys them at. Her parents keep there ridiculously nice RV there over the summer and we stay in that. I have tried that crank many places but this place more then any it just flat out catches fish non stop all day ever day.
