Norm Crosby is famous for twisting English words that sound very close to what should be said but have an entirely different meanings.

A friend of mine comes up with some corkers. His wife worked in the cafeteria of a mental health hospital. When telling me about his wife's job he said it's where they take care of the depressed mannequins.

It comes automatically with age.

Darn, another opportunity for a witty retort goes down the drain. Why does this have to be a family friendly forum?

I don't know about your family but mine is absolutely filthy. Specially my dads side. I tell ya the truth if we get together we could make a sailors ears bleed. Specially my Uncle.

Sailors are mid-level; you want to make some ears bleed, lessen to a ticked off woman talking about her boyfriend, to her girlfriend.

I used to be d-pre.s.s.ed, but................ I'm much b.e.tt.er now that I ..... take my ....pills......

Ya know, when you tell your boss you've been put on anti-depressants they take your weapons away???? What's up with that??? They sent me into Baghdad twice without any weapon!!

Abbott & Costello were masters of malapropisms.

The Three Stooges did the same thing but not to the extent as Bud and Lou.

That new 3 stooges movie is coming out soon. Anyone going to see it? I thought about it but the last made for tv movie I saw about them years ago was quite depressing.

I knew a guy with malapropism. Very embarrassing for him.

I haven't heard of it. pm me some details please, I love the Stooges - spent hours as a kid watching them along with Our Gang, Bob Hope, Key Stone Cops, etc. That was good comedy, especially for the stunt technology at the time. :)
