I have seen this same picture a couple of times floating around over the past couple months, so I would assume it isn't true!

I believe the fish was in the 4lb range and was caught last year sometime. Still a huge crappie though.
Is it spring yet??

I caught one like that it was the size of a 5 gallon bucket lid. I was fishing on a full moon phase with a front comming in. I love fishing by the moon phases.(mauri charts)
The fish are out there just waiting for you to throw the right lure along with the correct presentation so why are you still here?
Motivation is the key to success.....
Remember on a bad day just throw the lure you never tried yet.....

Don't know if this is confirmation that it was from Kerr/Buggs or not, but someone I work with who is from the area showed me the picture on his phone and swore it was 8 lbs. Would think it would make news like the Blue Cat from last summer if it really were a big time record. Nice fish, though.
