25# ?
It’s always better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6

Nice fish. What do you mean by "citation record"?
Is "basstiality" the same as sleeping with the fishes?

They have this reward system in my state and if you catch a fish that is big enough in length or in weight you get a reward for it. Its basically rewarding you for catching big fish haha and thanks guys.

His length was 34 inches and we didnt get a accurate weight around 15-20 pounds our scales were terrible off every time so that is up in the air aout weight, but he was a big catfish. Thank the LORD.

Nice catch. What type bait did you get him with? We had good luck the time I fished the potomac near Harpers Ferry with Helgramites. Nothing close to that size though, biggest might have been 6 pounds.

I live a hour or so from there. I use chicken liver, bluegill or sunfish, creek chubs, and horny head creek chubs, or anything thats rotten and stinks works good.

chicken livers are good for eater size cats. i catch a ton of 3lbers on livers. are you sure you arent throwing them off the hook when youve tried them? i wrap mine with a short piece of elastic thread since last year and the hold on a lot better. now i can reel them in a bit at a time and not worry that they came off the hook either...

Livers and stinky stuff works for eater channels and smaller blues but you won't catch many flatheads like that one on them. They're predators that eat live bait almost exclusively. Fresh cutbait can be good for them too. I like livebait because it attracts the larger fish of all 3 catfish species we have. They'll eat lures too, especially cranks and bottom contact baits. I had a nice flathead on a jig yesterday.
Is it spring yet??

Wrap up your chicken livers in some pantyhose! Cut yourself a piece off of them and tie the liver up in it making sure both sides are tied off, doing this will keep you from slinging the liver off and still give the same effect as if the bait was bare.

Bait size helps alot the bigger the bait bigger the bait and that is uaually how it works but also it is whatever they are in the mood for too also panty hose works really well too for holding bait
