Gonna tell us the name of the lake and the GPS coordinates as well?

Is "basstiality" the same as sleeping with the fishes?

Ramp is fixed. But water is still low. We are placing these in the sand. Waiting on water. Will post pics tonight or after fishing tomorrow.

OK, so this looks like not a lot.  But it is a huge sand flat, that extends into a point.  To the North(left in pictures) is the deepest part of the lake.  To the South(right), is a "channel" that connects these two "holes".  Right now the channel is out of water and the 2 holes are still holding water in excess of 15 ft.  The stake bed is about 15 foot from the drop to deeper water and all of these piles of trees are in groups of 4 trees, held down by cinder blocks and stakes.

A lot of work that doesn't look like much, but I bet it produces.  Total of 13 trees, 12 cinder blocks and 16 stakes.  The stake bed in front of the trees closest to the water was made with sticks found around the banks that beavers had already removed the bark.  That way the beavers will leave these stakes alone, and most are already waterlogged/petrified.  Should be there for the long haul!

I don't mind you doing all the work as long as I get to fish there.

Those will most definitely produce fish with their close proximity to deeper water. Some of those may even end up being bedding locations. Only problem I can think of, is it won't be secret for long, being such an obvious place to start, trees or no trees. Great job, though, good luck.

That will be a honey hole for sure! How deep will the water be at those trees at normal pool?
