I got a Christmas gift for a hunting trip out of state to shoot something with antlers. $7500 budget for three people to hunt. I am not opposed to a large game farm and or the hunt would need to be guided.

Where would you go for a once in a lifetime hunt one a budget?

Thanks

Elk. Colorado. Area 76

I don't know anything about Area 76, but an elk hunt in Colorado
with a top outfitter would be mighty fine.

76 is the best imo. But it takes about 7 or 8 preference points (7 or 8 years of application) before you can draw a bull tag. I know excellent guides in that area, if you wanted a cow, which I doubt. I have a 357 inch  6X7 that came out of 76 in my garage.

Too bad it isn't $7500 for just one person, then I would suggest the King Ranch.

Texas, Canada or the Milk River in Montana.

I grew up in Livingston, Montana and the Paradise Valley is pretty hard to beat for elk. This year in Central Nebraska was pretty good to my son this year for whitetail.

For that kind of money come to eastern NC for two weeks of all the deer you want to shoot. We can do some bear hunting I'll take you for a good night of coon hunting. We should be able to pop a few coyote and I'll throw in some great bass fishing.  ;D

Practically grew up there. Lived about 50 minutes away my whole life, but the creede area was definitely my outdoor stomping grounds. Aunt and Uncle run a guide service there still.

I agree with Burley $7,500 for 3 people will be a limiting factor because you will still have to add licenses, tags, & additional fees for all 3.

Next question would be Archery, Muzzleloader, or Rifle?
