FishFinder on a "JetSki"?? (pic)
That thing is cute. I sure hope it's not Pink. It doesn't matter so long as it floats. There's a guy on my home lake that fishes for Striper in one of those things. You should see him fighting a big striper. He's like a big bobber. PS. My first fishing vessel was a large piece of styrofoam and a paddle.

Transporting Fish to a different body of water?
Yea it's a good idea to check your game laws. Transporting a fish to a different body of water can spread diseases.
-
how large or small body of water do you prefer
I mostly fish Clarks Hill but I'll fish in a puddle if it has a bass in it.

Named changed - help needed
Those who know me, know that I love to sight fish. I sight fish most of the year. It seems as though you spooked the fish. A bass doesn't always run off when you spook it. Many times it will just stop biting anything or back up into cover. Each bass reacts differently to the sight of some guy with a long stick standing up in some floating thing. As has already been said. If you can see the bass, the bass can see you. This fact greatly decreases the chance you have a putting that big boy in your boat. The best thing for you to do in that situation is to back off as soon as you see the fish. Back up to the point that you can't see them any more and then make a very careful cast with very little splash. My favorite lure for this is a weightless "The Fluke" (not a Super Fluke) on 8lb flourocarbon. It is light and makes very little splash and can be fished slowly.

what time for night fishing?
Many seasoned night fishermen. Several of which guide strictly at night, will tell you that from 3am till the sun comes up is the best. This is an average over many years of night fishing.

Tie some hooks to them and see if you can catch some birds or squirrels or maybe some flying fish.
