Berkley Frenzy Crankbaits?
I have not personally used these crankbaits but if they are what i think they are then i would think that they would be fairly successful. After all, even if for some odd reason they are not the greatest in the world, you only paid a buck for them so... Doesnt hurt to try.

Personal opinion on tying onto crank bait...
Do you guys prefer to tie directly onto a crankbait, or do any of you use a duolock snap swivel like the ones that come on Wiggle Warts? Just wondering.....

Most fished baits
I primarily use large spinnerbaits with large colorado spinners in my farm pond, but other places i change up my spinners, or i throw a senko, then cranks...

where in this lake would u fish
It sounds as though this lake does not have a bad place to fish so there should not be any problems... When it is hot you obviousley will want to go deeper, and just try to find where the bass are laying. This is all that ive got...

Wiggle Wart?
What are your thoughts on the Wiggle Wart by Storm? Is it all that it is cracked up to be, and when is it most successful?

Fishing the weeds...
I have found a small pond that is absoloutely covered with moss, surrounded by cat tails, and has a ton of underwater growth. However it is LOADED with bass. I used a top water frog, a small white rat, and plastic worms and lizards, and of course a SENKO... I caught 8 but none of them were very big at all. Any suggestions?

Hook set help!!!
Well i have been using a 3/0 hook, and have not changed much, and finally something changed in my favor and i managed to go 3 for 3 on my senko hooksets... It must have just been one of those days though...

what time do you guys get out there?
I actually prefer afternoon fishing but i have not had as many opportunities to fish in the morning. Looks like i need to really start though...

Bass or something else?
This could most definetly be bass! Either that or larger panfish... You just might want to try to imitate the baitfish, and if their hitting the top of the water then you might want to try either topwater or something like a bait fish colored baby 1-...

...so the color red
I was also very confused on this and i just figured that the diameter of the line was small enough that the fish could not see it but the diameter of the hooks was too big for the fish not to see. After all they do have great eyesight compared to us... I also had this discussion the otherday! But O-well just a thought!

Hook set help!!!
The other night a buddy of mine were fishing all day and werent doing any good at all. Then we ended up going with weightless watermelon- black flake senkos and the bites starting coming. The only problem is that out of all the bites there were only two that we got in the boat. I know that it takes a strong hook set with a t-rig and that it helps to create a little groove for the hook, but even after doing all of this the fish kept getting off. I could understand a little more if there was a slack line , or if they threw it in the weeds but this was in open water! So, i am open for any tips?

a funny thing...
Some people just do not have the patience, or the love for it.... All i know is that there is almost nothing better than setting the hook on a nice bass, after all the work to finally get it!!!

Late Season Bass
Keep Fishing!!!! Even now in the slower summer season you should not let up! Even if their not hitting as much as they once were for you they will still hit. Plus just cause your not catching as many fish, doesnt mean you should stop, because the season is far from winding down and the great fall fishing is on the way, so you should utilize this opportunity to experiment, learn, and practice things that your not as good at. When it comes to fishing there is always something to learn!!!

Crank color?
What color of crank bait would you guys suggest for muddy water?

clear or dark water
So far I have most of my success in stained-muddy water. So I must say dark...

Found new lake to fish... can't find the bass!!!
I have found a new small private lake that appears to hold a lot of potential. The lake has several docks on it and a few of them are floating docks. Most of the docks are in pretty shallow water too. There is a water plant that grows up out of the water that completely encircles the lake, and is sometimes about 6 foot wide. The lake is only about 50 acres and is rarely fished because it is not open to the public. I just know someone that has a lake lot that lets me fish it. I have fished there for several hours on a few different days and have only caugt a few bass. The most success was with watermelon senkos and that was only for a little bit. I caught a small bass the other day there with a c-rigged lizard, because i was feeling the bottom and it felt pretty rocky, and dirt covered. Any advice would help.

struggles...
I go through this all the time. I would fish everything the same as when you had success and with it being summertime, the fish will eventually hit it again. You may also just want to change things up a little bit, like color, blades, and retrieve. Just a thought....

Need advice on weird situation.
O.K. so back to my farm pond situation that some of you helped me out with before. The other day I went out during the hottest part of the day and threw a firetiger spinnerbait with two colorado blades and had tremendous success. The next day went out at about the same time, same lure, same success. Then the next day I went out same lure, no success. Is this because the bass that were in this spot are not hitting yet after being caught, just not a good day for it, the bass are getting used to my lure, or i just need to give it a day or two before trying again. I know that fish can want something different from day to day, but on days that they dont want my spinnerbait what would be a goold alternative? Pond Info: 8 ft. deep, muddy, largr rocks where the bass were being caught, a lot of blue gill!!!

Ideas for getting the hogs in my pond.....
I have had a similair problem up until the other day. I did something a little backwards to conventional thinking. I went out in the hottest part of the day and threw a larger firetiger spinnerbait, with two (various sizing) gold/bronze colorado blades. I just altered my retrieves from slow and low, to a wake effect, and everything in between. It doesnt make the most sense but it was well worth it to me.... maybe it will be to you too...

How would you fish a pond with alot of vegetation
I think everything has pretty well been mentione here. However, I would go with topwater, light softplastics (like a floating worm) or use a spinner bait and just retrieve it shallow...

Welcome Back!!

Late Season Bass
The season is far from winding down and there are a lot of opportunities left this year. It is hotter now so you might want to go deeper and fish where the bass take cover. just a thought

Senko or Wave Worms? Practically the same thing?
Everyone here talks about using Senkos everywhere, and today I was told that the brand Wave Worms makes a Senko knock off. They are supposed to be exactly the same except the wave worms are a little cheaper and are much more durable than the Senko. So what are your thoughts on this?
