Alot of fish I've caught within the last few months have had these spots. I just figured they were from tail slapping and fanning beds.

I got mono last year. It sux! I had no idea what was going on, it took three visits to the doctor for them to finally figure out what was wrong. The first one was like..."you got a cold go take some advil" The second one was like....."uhhh, heres some vicoden" The third and final (my usuall doctor) visit she felt my liver and could tell it was abnormal, so she gave me a blood test. I have never been sick for so long before. The first morning I was so sore I thought I had been bitten by a zombie. Anyway, just be carefull around your stomach area, Its very easy to rupture your liver while sick with mono. Hope you feel better soon. P.S. I'll be responding to your pm when I get off work.

Great Post! I can't see the pictures (stupid firewall), but I'll check them out when I get home. This is something I've been trying to get into, but don't know many people. I bought a 12 footer about six months ago and finally made my first trip upto point lookout two weekends ago without any results.

Yea, I caught alot on the c-rig last year near bull run marina, but I was fishing from the bank on a point. The fish above was caught pretty much in the middle of the rez.

if you have to go to dick's, I guess you could grab an all star classic and a pfluger president for around 100, with what ever coupons are floating around. But my best advice would be to look for a deal online.

I might be on the solo this weekend, but how bout the next?

Got there about 7 am on saturday. Me and a buddy just cruised around for a while before picking up a few dinks in the grass on spinner baits. Then it started pourin so we ducked in a cove under some trees until it let up. After 10 minutes it cleared up and I notice huge schools of baitfish swimming on the surface. I lost a nice one on the Rapala subwalk in all white. Because I'm not used to walk the dog type baits I switched up to the full size Magic swimmer and would just cast out past the baitfish, let it sink for a second or two and reels at varying speeds. Caught the biggest of the day on a pretty fast retrieve just under the baitfish.

Wow, I might have to call them. I ordered a guide select rod (not the big bait) and after fishing with it a few times I noticed one of the guides had some of the resin/glue in it.
