  3. Nice fish. Always gotta have one more cast. lol
  4. I assume these would work pretty well if clipped to the eye of the hook. http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_15839_100010002_100000000_100010000_100-10-2
  5. congrats! thats a nice fish.
  6. that was great. ;D
  7. couldn't see that one coming. ;D Stay somewhere you can tollerate for a while, save up some money and open a guide business. Starting to sound more and more what I want to do. Also you could go to school for biology, and work as a conservationist, or biologist. Also something I've been thinking about. Otherwise It sounds like you would rather do something outdoors. The problem with this is you gotta take the good with the bad, Unless you live somewhere with a perfect climate.
  8. whatcha like/interested in?
  9. Thanks Davis. Its weird, lately I've been catching alot of crappie on bass lures.

  13. well I got to check out the floating dock on saturday, and I must say I couldn't have asked for a better day of fishing. I started out at about 6:30 where I usually do, to the right of the boat ramp. There was a tournament starting as I got out there. Caught a crappie on a rattle trap on my second or third cast, then nothing after, no bites at all. Then about 9:00 I headed in search of the floating dock, finally found it. there were a few of the tourny guys fishing near the first part of it when I got there, so I walked to the very end and set up. What followed was the best day of fishing I've ever had. The guys in their boats didn't seem to happy after I started catching. ;D Caught all of them on a Mepps #3 black fury and pumpkin fat ika. I went out on friday and bought the fat Ikas in pumkin since Ron had so much luck with that color. and this was my big girl of the day. I guess that I'm catching fish now I should go out and buy a scale. Maybe next season. Thanks again Ron and Andy for the great spot. I caught two more but one was very small and the other jumped off the hook and slammed flat against the dock, he looked a bit rattled so I flicked him into the water, so no pics.
  14. we've got snakeheads here in the Potomac, I wanna catch one bad. The top water frogs they use look really cool. http://www.snakeheadpro.com/
  15. x2 there are some great articles for beginners. Thats where I learned alot about bass fishing when I first started.
  16. I would have. Kinda like a fresh water dolphin. ;D
  17. thanks for the post. Its very hard to convey emotion or sarcasm or whatever when said in text or writing. Also people tend to become a bit more comfortable when behind a computer, saying the first thing that comes to mind. My other forums did away with the edit button, as to make sure people would think before posting. Just a thought. I would also like to thank all the mods on doing a great job keeping the peace. I know they can seems like the forum police at times, but there is a reason they're here.
  18. Nice fish. Good lookin pup too.
  19. yea, but you really can't fuel the fire, doesn't really help. I work with alot of stuffy people, I always try to be polite, even if its shooting some one a smile as I pass by in the hallway. Many time I just get a blank stare or something. Its hard to be polite to rude people but you gotta keep humble and know that what you are doing it right. Man if I said half the junk I thought of after running into people like that I would most likely be locked up.
  20. great fish. Where you fishin at?
  21. I've gotten that too. I just shake it off, otherwise i'd be like "Im soooo sorry, I meant to say, how are you this morning B*%#@?"
