  1. Excuse me but if you caught 25 fish- two things -jump for joy and call me to go with you
  2. Look at that fat basstid-- I wasnt talking about the fish--LOL There are many ways to catch bass at night. Big worms -Jigs- spinnerbaits with colorodo blades for more vibration. I try to stay away from trebble (trouble) hooks at night. One wrong move landing it and its a trip to the ER.. Go try different baits to become a more well rounded angler -No pun intended - Experiment and let the fish tell you how they want the baits presented. Sometimes I cant buy a bite on a top water biut throw a worm and ya clean up.
  3. Cup the blades more so they catch more water and add more resistance- Im no expert but just give that a try ahhum!
  4. It was actually a mockumentory--
  5. I know all about those "Jersey Riggs" It was invented long before the senko -It was invented by a guy named jeff camerrino . One of the best guys I ever met. They were written up in Bass Masters back in the mid 90's.. Jeff was a tournament fisherman here in NJ. I met him and he used to hand me bags of them saying "ya gotta try this" after 2 years of him annoying the hell out of me I took nothing but them to a local pond--Whacky rigged one--Clear with gold glitter--said this looks stupid as hell.. first cast 3 lbr-- I said HMMMMMMMMM I ended up mastering that bait- .It was on its way -THEN came """"DA DA DA DAAAAAAA The senko" it was over for the Jersey rigg. jeff is now a Game Warden in PA
  6. Thats what I said- Usually when its on the documentary channel its legit--It was on Nat Geo here
  7. You want to talk about a mind blowing show--OMG -Some of it is so outlandish but some of it makes ya stop and wonder- IS IT POSSIBLE Ya gotta wtach this show
  8. You know I have been very quiet here for a while and we are in the most controversal topic in the fishing industry. I have been working for a year on a new technology to enhance YES I AM USING THE WORD "ATTRACTANT" From what i have been testing in tanks and the wild- HMMMM watch and learn-- They never did explain what worm extract was did they-- How many worms do you really think a bass sees in its life time- They are pretty much land creatures - Its whats in the worm that the fish are eating- HMMMM
  9. Sinking or fall rates are controlled by many varables. Its controling bouyancy to get the rate the fish wants not the angler. The slower fall rate might not trigger the reaction strike that a flick -shake senko might cause. so always let the fish tell you how "THEY" want the bait presented.Braid-hook size and weight--- along with-lead weights inserted into the baits-line diameter and composition all affect the baits sink rates -tweeking these will help you determine how the fish want the bait presented-
  10. I have been going through the arcives and this is the first original pilot of Lunkerville http://youtu.be/w166-ljnIMU
  11. Hopefully we get them good- Fish are stacking and on beds already-i will not bed fish there- Its for fun- But i have been there this time of year and whacked them.
  12. It was bound to happen. It happens to a few select people in history. Mike is the lastest of "Chosen Anglers" that will test their fate. Thats right he has chosen me as a guest fisherman to film a TV episode of Lunkerville. What the hell was he thinking. On an almost serious note*** I am heading up to Lake Champlain with Mikey D tomorrow- Thursday- On of the top bass fishing lakes in the world- get to see some of the most beautiful sights- catch some bass- spend some quality time with my friends. Filming Friday and I hope all goes well. There is a big bridge up there that we will be fishing-hopefull hes not swinging from it by the end of the day.
  13. ROLO-- the people come on these forums for several reasons- #1 they come as a know it all and love to start touble--Thats why Im here LOL- #2 They come one here to seek knowledge #3 They come here to share knowledge as more experianced anglers. The blog that you had written was a very well thought out thesis based on actual on the water expeirance. well done- Ok I dont want to ruin my reputation- Im Outta here
  14. Rolo -You are strting to scare me- It actually sounds like you know what you are talking about- LOL
  15. Guy next to us was selling Porta Botes. So this guy reads the paper -every 15 minutes or so he looks at his watch-gets up- grabs a hammer and proceeds to whack the hull of the boat three times- This causes commotion and people walk over and he gives his speal. So this goes on for two days like clock work --- we are working the crowd demonstrating product. Here we go again- He gets up grabs the hammer while i am demonsrtating product and i hear whack whack bam. He puts the hammer right through the hull of the boat-we all burst out laughing- I said thats a great hammer -i'll take one-- So needless to say we were putting up signs on that boat-" NOW COMES WITH LIFE JACKETS" Next we got a small soda cup--"also includes bail out can"--. The guy actually had a good sense of humor -he allowed us to hammer him at will. So that breaks up the monotiny of the shows Good stuff like that
