HMMMM -wont go there- Actually caught some of my largest bass on the 1/8 oz buzzbait. It works great on water that is smooth as glass-sometimes larger ones are to obnoxious and they dont want them- the 1/8 oz size is subtle and great for those tough days.

Blade size is key -The body dosent make that much of a difference. I catch a lot of big bass on the larger baits but usually throw them when there is chop on the water -little to no chopp I go with the smaller 1/4 oz size. REMEMBER WITH WINDY CONDITIONS THEY HAVE TO HEAR IT FEEL IT IN ORDER TO EAT IT--sounds get distorted or lost when there is more chop or wave action -

I went fishing last night -took 4 cavitrons and all ran straight right out of the package I just slowed them down

If you like you can adjust the blade angles -Opening them allows less resistance which allows it to be retrieved faster BUT THEY MUST BE CLOSE TO THE SAME ANGLE OR IT BECOMES UNBALLANCED.. Like i said these are designed to be retrieved very SLOOOOOOOOWLY

I would have to take a look at it. Is it the 1/4 oz ?? I find that if you reel them to fast they will run to the right--Run to the left I havent had that happen unless I bent the arm to make it run like that on purpose. The Hook -center arm and top arm must all be straight in alignment. The blades are cupped at a certain angle to catch as much water as possible. Thats what makes it run slower. SLOW THE BAIT DOWN and it should run straight. I find it more with the 1/4 oz and never had any issues with the 3/8 oz. ANY BEND IN ARMSHAFTS OR DEBRIS on the front line tie will make it run offset. Even a little tag end of line at the knot will catch water and make it run off to the side. Its just deflecting water and causing resistance. Trying slowing it down a bit and see what results you get. personally i dont use them -Yeah right LOL

My answer on the trailer hook. When i am fun fishing rarely do I use a trailer hook. The most important thing i have learned is letting the fish tell me if i need one or not. if they are slamming them or slurping them -I do not use one -If the fish are slapping at them -I USE ONE... MOST IMPORTANT**** IF IM FISHING A TOURNAMENT *** IM USING ONE -JUST LIKE OUR SLOGAN SAYS' "" WHEN EVERY FISH COUNTS-" you never want to miss the fish that can win you the tournament. Take every advantage you can-put the odds in your favor-- NOW THATS FOR BUZZ BAITS AND SPINNER BAITS---ANY BRAND

I dont know either -I guess fishermen actually catch fish with them- I dont fish so i dont know

Up here in NJ They make us take off the props to fish all electric lakes but this is rediculous
