  1. Good point Moby- I have done that before and thats what I tried to show in that video.
  2. It all comes down to the brand you have confidence in.There are little subtleties in all brands of baits that differentiate them from each other. The best lure on the water is the one called CONFIDENCE-we just use quality components and have changed a few of the designs from existing baits.-It produces fish and results. I have caught bass on 99 cent buzzbaits but for the money-$5.95-the cavitron is the best value out there.Think about it-I have caught many fish on a single bait-won lots of money on the Cavitron. They could last 3 years-thats about 2 bucks a year to use a great bait - I think I would give it an investment-But again use what you have confidence in.
  3. Just to add a note -before that had to be the sluggo-It has fallen by the wayside -the senko has stolen the spotlight but for a few years the sluggo was the bait of the times. the chatterBait is definitly up there. Now the whole idea for fishing lure manufacturers is to invent the next great bait.
  4. The deep diving Jitterbug gets my vote- its the greatest secret among the top pros- gary yamamoto has revolutionized the plastic industry with the senko-the most productive bass lure ever created-Period
  5. Ive got 20 of them in my boat at all times-Different sizes to adjust for the conditions such as wind-bait size -chop of the water-aggressiveness of the fish-find what the fish want and give it to them
  6. I DONT USE THEM

  17. OH God See what I have to put up with for the next two days - Hey dozer what the heck or where the heck is Ameriva ??? Too much cider or egg nog already I think. I think Dozer looks a little like Baranby
  18. Just a quick Happy Thanksgiving to all here at Bass Resource-Yeah thats you too Glen also-Not to Dozer though!!! tell ya why later. As tough as we have it always remember that there are people out there that have it worse than we do. People that lost their health-families-their jobs-homes ect. Think about those brave soldiers that are not with their families keeping us safe from those scoundrels that hate us because we are Americans. When you are at or with your families tonight at dinner-hold hands -say a prayer-and tell everyone that is with you that you love them. Remember be thankful for the problems that you have and not the ones that some others have. OH Yeah! About Dozer. He flew up here and I'm stuck with him for the next two days- Thanksgiving #II with the Dozer on the Hudson River fishing for cold water bass. We will post pics in a few days. Ok Stan and Ollie are on and they are going to beat the hell out of Barnaby again gotta Go.
  19. We have them made for our guys that fish for us- sponsored-work sporting shows ect. They are great shirts and I can get them custom made for about $65 per shirt. names included on front and back.
  20. Heres my favorite http://lineart.redshad.com/StrikeBack/
  21. What I do here is try to educate fishermen and give them options. Do I sell baits -yes- The reason I develop them is because all of my years on the water both above and below allows me to apply what I learn through my experiences. I have stated from the start -"Use what you have confidence with". On the open minded side- let me show you options you can apply to expand your fishing arsenal.
  22. ALL BRANDS OF BUZZBAITS WILL CATCH FISH PERIOD THE END.There is no real control that will prove that one fish likes one buzzbait over another. it comes down to what the fish wants at that particular time. What I will say is we use quality components on all of our baits. They are made right here in the US and they are great for fun fishing -weekend warriors or pro's fishing for a living.Day in and day out they produce and are long lasting.I have had some for a few years with hundreds of bass on them- $5.95 compared to some baits-not a bad deal-purchase whatever brand you have confidence in.
  23. I always try to give options. As stated in many of my posts -USE WHAT YOU HAVE CONFIDENCE IN. -that is the greatest lure of all. There are all kinds of lures that I use by different manufacturers- They all have their time and place. If you like them God bless you-we are all here for friendship and to promote fishing.
  24. HMMM . The hooks are Gammys. The only issue I have ever heard of these hooks opening up is when some guy screamed he lost a 7lbr- I asked him was he using braid. He said yes 50 or 60 lb PowerPro. Hmmm - Maybe they are a little shy for being whacked with 60lb braid. I pulled s stump up with 30 lb one time and landed it. I designed the new E2 for braided line . That has a real strong heavy gauge flippn hook on it. That might help. 2 in a pack for $7.95
  25. What happened here in The "North East" is we just had some major cold weather come through. It was kind of a shocker . The weather this time of year is usually in the mid 60's consistantly. C'mon I remember Halloween around 60-70 degrees. It just had a little spirt of cold. What I find is, that turns them on into feeding. The water is still relativly warm in the low 60' to high 50's. Those are the times I catch my biggest bass of the year.-like Ike says NEVER GIVE UP!!!!!!!! here in New Jersey they were crushing buzzbaits last week before the storm.
