I'm confused. First off, it's not "One Man" it's the guy who's widely known as the single best tourney bass fisherman in the universe. Secondly, why are you so amazed that people buy a product and have confidence in it, when they see it actually doing something real, like winning the biggest bass fishing tourney there is? What amazes me is that people buy things like cars because they see some pro driver on a closed track in a commercial, making amazing turns and slides and spins. That's not REAL. These people are never going to get in their new car and do what the pro driver did in the comercial. Conversely, KVD winning the Bassmasters Classic is REAL. It happened. He beat other guys who were using different lures the "other" companies make and weekend anglers everywhere will be doing the same thing KVD did in the Classic. Fishing. Not only that, some people got to, and get to fish Bees Wax Creek the day after KVD. I'd say that's incentive enough to go out and buy a couple red eyed Shad. (even though I'm not buying any) If Skeete Reese had won the BMC on a Lucky Craft lure, and kicked KVD's butt while KVD was using the Red Eyed Shad, why isn't it logical for me, or any other bass fishermen to go out and buy some Lucky Craft lures and throw them with confidence, all the while thinking my success rate will skyrocket? I'm sure we all know a few anglers out there who bought into the season's "hot" new lure and ended the season disappointed in their catch ratio. It's those types of anglers who doesn't understand location and presentation who gets suckered into the hype. I've fished with some anglers who went crazed with the whole Sexy Shad ordeal and finished the season disappointed in the lure, because they expected to be hauling bass after bass simply because they've seen KVD prove that it was a bass catching lure. Like someone stated...there's nothing wrong with confidence, we all got confidence in certain lures...but to be chucking around one lure everywhere you go in any type of condition isn't the best way to approach the game. A successful angler knows when to hold/fold'em.

I don't have problems seeing weeds or weedlines. This past summer, I marked a section of weedline...threw out my buoys and pulled some nice largemouths from that weedline. Obviously with the smaller screen it will be a bit harder to interpret the images, but the advantages this unit will offer surpasses the negatives. The more you use it, in time you'll find it easier to interpret the image. Like you stated...don't expect fish to jump in the boat. It'll get you to their front door steps...you got to do the rest. Like many units...you have to go out and play with it, then tune it to your preferred setting. Enjoy!!

I got the 798ci, and yes...the bigger screen is always better but this unit will open a whole new world...I absolutely love mine! First few trips out...you might as well leave your gear at home...you'll be cruising around the lake/river, with your eyes glued to the screen! ;D Pull the trigger...you'll love it!

It amazes me how people actually believe because of one man's success with a product...they actually believe their success rate will sky rocket if they use the very same product. (face palm)

This just happened a few weeks ago while I was out ice fishing. Saw one of those ATV / boat vehicle flying around the lake, with 3 guys on it. The guy in the back somehow fell out and the driver/other guy did not see him fall out. So the guy who fell out got up and started running after the ATVfull speed on ice too! My Godhe was sprinting hella fast with boots on ice!! He's yelling and waving his hands while chasing the ATV. He was right behind itthe driver saw him and hits the brakes. Guy running behind the ATV, slams into the back of the ATV and falls down. The two guys jumps off and tries to help their bud off the ice. The guy was down on the ice for about a minute or two. OMGthat was funny as heck!

That's 3 strikes. This whale needs to go to whale prison...oh wait, it's already in one!

Not a racing fan...but I have noticed how much this Jimmy Johnson's name has come up for winning races. Don't mean to highjack the thread...but don't understand all this media attention on Earnhardt Jr when I have never heard of him winning any significant race.

I don't watch any hockey, but I heard all the talk about how this USA vs Canada could be like that "Miracle on Ice" game against the Soviet team. Now, I don't know a thing about hockey but I heard all the talk about how Canada was going to put a hurting on USA. When I found out that USA came out on top in a game that most people predicted Canada to win...that's a sweet feeling. Gotta love it when USA is the underdog and pulls an upset! Go red, white, and blue!

We witnessed a man's dream...crushed right in front of him. So close, yet so far away. He was good...KVD was just better.

Oh God...I used to play it hardcore. I stopped when my buddies introduced me to World of Warcraft. Now I just don't play any video games...except Madden 10.

It's not quite as bad as it once was. I got the kids to keep me busy. I'm looking to buy things for my truck. I also picked up ice fishing too. I'm keeping myself busy.

Congrats to the Saints, going into the game as the underdog, they deserve it!

If it's a nice catch, I'll weigh it. Most of the time...I'm guessing.

It's an okay show...I prefer to watch shows that I can relate to...entertaining though.

He seems like a cool cat to fish with. The tone of his voice when he gets all excited...does sort of gets to you after awhile, but hey...I'd rather have that than some of these other guys with no personality.

I like the recent Sexy Swimmer commercial by Strike King. I like those ESPN Bassmasters commercials too.

Bass gear works perfectly fine, although I would strongly suggest tying on a leader because it will cut mono, flouro, and braid with ease. It is a aggressive specie, so they love fast erratic lures...jerk baits, spinner baits, spoons, and etc., you get the picture. When I'm not chasing bass...I'm chasing these guys. I love crappie fishing. They travel in schools, so when you get one...there's plenty more around for the taking.
