  5. the first one is the best, anyways my story takes place at this pond with a main road right next to it, i ride my bike to the pond, now I was there for probably 20mins and i was throwing a rapala jointed minnow and i caught a bass that probably weighed 4 pounds and he got one hook in his mouth and one just past his mouth so instinctivly i take the one on the side out first and as i am going lip him he shakes and that hook that was just on the side of his mouth is now in my thumb as far as it will go, and i cant pull it out and the bass is still trying to shake so i got the hook out of his mouth let him go and i cut the line so i had more freedom with my hand, so now i have to ride home on a sidewalk next to a main road for about 1 and a half miles with one intersections to ride through and i cant stand up and ride because now i have to hold the pole and the handle bar with one hand.I lost count how many people were laughing at me. i had to pull the hook out with pliers which i had failed to bring.
  6. shakespear synergy 10, my first outing with it i has a bass on and the drag went out so the line broke. cajun red line, it didnt cast good and every time i got a good fish it would break. heddon torpedos i just cant catch anything with them.
  7. the one gaurenteed thing that will help your catch rate is find a private or undiscovered pond.i used google earth and looked in my area i found one, i had to go through some woods, but when i got to it I caught 9 bass in about 4 hours. thats because they are not as smart as a bass that lives in heavily fished waters.
  8. i would say its a very healthy fishery. you can also use crawfish as bait.
