Has anyone purchase an All Pro rod?
I am debating about spending more than I normally would on a rod and I am considering either an All Pro rod or a KVD Quantum (from Bass Pro Shops) . Has any one purchased an All Pro rod? If so how do you like it? I plan on buying a new rod in the next day or so.

How ya doing on the Storm
My daughter lives in Memphis (Mudd Island) and has been hearing the tornado sirens going on and off for hours. It is pretty scary for me seeing that there has been damage in the county she lives in, Shelby County has seen some storm damage at the mall and near the Memphis airport.

NYG!!!! WIN IT wow!!!
Congrats to the NY Giants and their fans, they were the better team last night. My hat goes off to the NY defense, they beat the Pats offensive line, one on one. Eli also played the game of his life. The only thing left to say is there is always next year.

North American Fishing Club
Has anyone received an offer to test products for the North American Fishing Club? I just received a package to join and test products and was wondering if this is worth joining. It states that it is an ivitation only offer to join the club and that the membership fees are $1 per month. It further states that you get their magazine as well.

Virginia Man shattersstriped bass record
It did look like a hawg in the picture. It must have been a lot of fun to land him.

Advice on Fixing up an Old Rat-L-Trap
I used permanent markers on one and caught quite a few LMBs with it before I lost it to some under water structure. Markers are a cheap way to fix up an old lure.

my trophy is here!!!
Nice catch and nice mount.

How about them Patriots
Glenn, I disagree with you, Tom is a great quarterback and he has proven it by winning three superbowls with next to no talent at wide receiver. This is the first year that Tom has actually had a true number one wide receiver (Randy Moss) to throw to. God only knows how his stats would look if he had a true number one receiver all of those years.

Need Info On Lake Greeson, Arkansas
All, I have changed my vacation plans and decided that we are going to book a trip to Lake Greeson in August. My wife and daugher chose this place because it is close to a public diamond mine that they can go to and dig for diamonds, they can keep what they find. That will allow me to fish all I want. I will be hauling my boat down from Northern Virginia and I am looking for any and all information that you can provide to me so I have a successful fishing trip. I would really like to hear from locals that have fished the lake before if possible. I expect that it will be hot and humid that time of year and that I will need to fish deep water. Is there a good top water bite early mornings and early evenings? Will deep diving crankbaits produce for me on this lake at that time of year? Thanks in advance, Ron

How about them Patriots
They are 18-0 and primed to win the superbowl. They will make history in two weeks and be the greatest team of all time. GO PATS!!!

Fredericksburg Va.
It could be tough, the lakes and rivers around here are starting to ice up. We are in a cold weather pattern for at least the next week or so. My son and I fish in Fredericksburg and had had good success fishing for SMBs. Send me a PM and maybe we can show you a few plces to fish if the cold weather pattern changes. Ron

Why do you fish is the first place?
I fish to help unwind and relax and to enjoy nature at it's finest. There is nothing like catching a hawg.

Lake Hamilton Arkansas
Has anyone on the forum fished this lake? I am looking at renting a cottage on the lake this summer. I saw that they have caught some state record stripers (58 lbs) in Lake Hamilton. I am curious how the LMB fishing is there as well. I looks like it will be a sweet place to go fishing. Any information that you could provide would be appreciated. I have chose this lake because it is only three hours from my daughters home. I am also considering Lake Greeson.

BPS trip
I was there Friday and dropped about $50 on Rapala, Strike King and BPS lures. Unfortunately they did not have any of the Strike King Premier Plus Spinner baits left, they were sold out of all colors.

Got any good fishing pictures?

Crappie Fishinhg in NOVA
Lake Mercer has a lot of crappie but you can't use a motor in it and it does not have a boat launch. You have to carry a canoe or some other boat to it. Matt, Where on the rez did you catch those and what were they biting on, if you don't mind sharing?

Just ordered some custom worms from Bassmanlures
I just ordered some custom made 7 inch swim worms (aka swim senkos) from my buddies brother. My buddy has caught some nice LMBs and SMBs off the plastics that his brother makes. The price for these is great, $4.50 a bag, 20 worms in a bag plus shipping. I have seen the products he makes and he does a really good job. I am looking forward to receiving them at the end of the week and can hardly wait to try them out for myself. If anyone wants to check out the products I have placed a link to his site. Well they will not allow the link on this site. His business is called bassmanlures. If you search in google it will come up, there are no spaces in the name.

Give n' it up
Wayne, I have been there once right after a cold front came through and only caught one 2.5lb LMB. It was a really cold day and the wind was blowing hard. I am looking forward to going back this coming spring. I just need to buy a canoe that I can put in the lake, I do not want to chance damaging my bass boat. There are just too many stumps in the water and I am not familiar enough with the lake. I would love to find someone to go out with that could show me the lake and maybe some fishing techniques for Briery Creek Lake. I would in turn return the favor up here on the Potomac River in Northern Virginia. Ron

WayneP, Is that Briery Creek Lake? It sure looks like it.
