Charter a boat and go on a fishing trip, the prices are not that bad. We were going to go out marlin fishing for my son's bachelor party but I could not get commitments from his friends so we did not do it.

I have really good luck with the swim senkos not rigged. Toss it out, let it sink a bit give it a tug reel in the slack and repeat. I have had days where I have caught as many as 10 LMBs in just a few hours fishing this way.

Is the place lit up or do you bring a light? I just am unsure if I could wake up that early to go fishing. The earliest I have left to go fishing is 4:30AM.

Why so early? That would mean leaving at 1:00AM for me. I think I am going to pass, that's just a little bit to early for me.

I use the Rapalas and like the action of them, the new DT7s are sweet.

Has anyone fished Monroe bay in Virginia? It is near Colonial Beach. I was just curious what the fishing was like there. Any feedback would be appreciated.

What time do you plan on getting there? Where are you parking, street name? That way I can use mapquest to get directions.

The only fish I have caught on chatterbaits have been an 8.5lb long-nosed gar and a 25lb catfish. These were both caught in Northern Virginia.

I am going to call them when I get home from work. I hope they let me do the exchange. I just would rather have the pair with the built in boots for smallie fishing. Thanks for your help guys.

I would be using these for smallie fishing in the Rappahanock River. Will BPS let me exchange these with a pair with built in boot (better and more expensive) if I don't have a receipt? Obviously I would need to pay the difference.

Has anyone ever used these waders? I am guessing that you need to buy boots to go over the neoprine stocking feet. Do the neprine stocking feet leak? The boots that they sell that look like they are put on over these waders have water release valves built into the boots. Can anyone confirm my beliefs? Wayne, What are you using to catch all those bass if you don't mind sharing your knowledge? I have gone out a couple of times but have gotten skunked in local lakes/ponds. I tried slowing down my retrievals and I am using suspending jerkbaits but it has not helped. The places I fish have a lot of large boulders in the deep water and I have lost jigs and rigged plastics. I really wish I had access to a boat right now.

I caught him at Lake Mercer. I am stuck shore fishing until I start the boat back up again, most likely toward the end of March. My friends have all winterized their boats as well. I wish I had a garage (heated) then I would not have to worry and I could use the boat year round.

Where are you fishing in the Pamukey? I am guessing you are still in a boat. I have been shore fishing since I winterized my boat and have not caught anything since December 1st. My last fish was a 5.25lb LMB.
