Thanks for the responses guys. Ok yeah I think I am gonna stop using this line because it broke on me when I was just tying a palomar knot. I really do not want to take the chance of breaking off a good fish.

Man that sucks, because that line was really smooth and casted great too. It also had low stretch. I haven't had any break offs but I do not want to take any chances. P-Line flouroclear is reliable right?

I use a palomar knot, the hook position seems to be right and I have only hooked one bass on it (lost it) and it did not seem to be torn. I might have been reeling too fast. I will try it again to see if that was the problem. Thanks for the replies.

My mattlures bluegill swimbait doesn't seem to run right on the retrieve. It tends to roll on its side sometimes. I have only used it a couple of times. I know it is an awesome bait (as BassinAssassin171 has proved in two days.) I have tried tuning it but it didn't do much. I was wondering if there is a trick you guys do to fix this?

I just picked up a spool of this. I fished it and liked it a lot, but then I read on Bass Pro shops website that it broke on them a lot on the hookset. Now I have seen some crazy things posted on Bass Pro about products, and most of them I do not believe. So, I was wondering if you guys ever had any problems with P-Line Evolution?

I guess it would work but braid would work alot better because of lack of stretch. The lack of stretch makes for stronger hooks which helps alot with frogs. It also has the ability to cut through heavy cover like pads and grass. And it will also work with senkos. JMHO

I recently found a 300 yd spool of Gamakatsu "G Power" 10# Co-polymer line in my basement. I do not really know where this came from and I had no idea that Gamakatsu made fishing line. Have any of you used this line? Is it it good? bad? Thanks for the input.

Yeah that fish is not a smallie, it was a largemouth. I don't see how the colors relate to a smallie. Maybe because of the muddy water the bass took on a brown color.

Yeah, there are a lot of goldfish/koi in the Potomac river. Almost every other time I go I see a goldfish. I have also seen a fish hawk swoop down and grab one. It was cool.

I just bought a filler spool of Ultra Soft in clear to try out. To me this looks like a milky color and it stands out in the water. Also it is not as clear as regular Yozuri Hybrid. Is this just a characteristic of this line?

Dave, that fish was caught in St. Marys Lake, its not a smallmouth. Its just a small Largemouth. He caught it this year in a lake with no smallmouth. Here is another picture of it.

My dad also has caught a Largemouth with red eyes. (The picture is sorta blurry sorry).
