I found out about this site from the podcast BassFeed. I believe it was LBH who was being interviewed and he mentioned bassresource so I went and checked it out.

On the golfcourse I live, all the ponds are stocked. I guess the best way to find out is ask. If no one knows then just go fish it for a while and see what happens.

Is it a topwater bait?

I use the frog in very heavy slop, where i can't get another topwater bait like a pop-r. I like using them under overcast skies too.

thats what I was thinking, ecspecially because of the tail placement is different from anything i have seen and mabye what the bass have seen.

I thought this swimbait looked cool and was wondering if anybody has used it, if they caught any fish on em, and what you think of them.

I dont know what the best frog is because but my favorite is the spro bronzeye. I have had a really good hook up percentage with these.

I do best with solid black or black with blue flake.

Pop-R and a hollow bodied frog in the morning. When the sun shows I will throw a jig or texas rig.

I was wondering if any of you guys have used this lure? If you have, were you succesful and did it have a unique action? Do you think the rabbit fur makes a difference?

The STX is the higher end reel. I think that the SC is made for cabelas exculisivley.

What did you think when you hooked into that tire? That must have been pretty heavy? yeah that tire fought forever ::)lol.

I have caught a shirt, turtle, seagull, stick :, and a tire.

I havent had any problems with them.

Yeah as i said it was a skinny fish. It was probably just about to start to feed for the winter. I wish i caught her during spring though, she would be even bigger. Anything over 5 is a very nice fish for maryland.

I wish it was a 10#. The scale said 7Lb.s even. I caught it in the middle of october last year in about 8 foot of water on a main lake point. I was using a Black&Blue Strike King Bitsy Bug 1/8th ounces. I also used a paca craw(black&blue) as the trailer. It was just after a cold front and me and my dad were about to call it a day when i made the last couple of casts. I felt like i lost feeling with the bottom so i just slammed it. It was the only fish I caught that day. When i look at the pictures of that fish, i see that it does have really cool looking markings. its tail is almost all black. You said it was healhty, it was but i whish it was fatter. it was more on the skinny side :-/. this fish is my pb. i cant wiat till i get a better one. Thanks for asking I hope this picture works:

I am confused on what rod action is better for what and why. Is a Moderate tip good for trebles? Is a Fast tip good for worms and Jigs?
