Hmm... I guess I'll give the Pointer a try. I dunno if i'm ready to fork out the 20 bucks yet. If i do it'll probably end up sitting in my tacklebox for a long time before i get the courage to throw it... :-/

I take this back... I decided to give the spot remover another chance today. 2 and a 1/2 hours and 31 largemouths later, I'm kinda a big fan now... ;D

I personally use the berkley powerbait shakey head worms with 1/4 oz bagley shakey head jigs. I'm not a big fan of the spot remover, as I miss more hooksets with it... not really sure why, possibly a shorter shank

Is the Pointer worth the price of 2+ X-raps? I was thinking about picking one up and giving it a try. X-raps work for me, is the Pointer that much better?

hmm... i've been scouring google for spinnerbait skirts and still haven't found the specific color... i'd probably be better off going to the store and asking them where they got them

ya... but there is a color specifically i am looking for. its like a green pumpkin kind of thing with orange tips... it is kind of a crayfish color that i found at a local bait store but now they are out and i need more...

Does anyone know of a good site to find a variety of different color spinnerbait skirts? I'm looking for a quickskirt type that would fit terminators.

Good... I am having a custom rod made for me and I chose to have the guides spiraled on there after hearing the builder's explanation of them. I just wanted to see if anyone else had spiral wrapped guides and what they thought of it.

Does anyone have a rod with spiral wrapped guides? How do you like it?

i usually downsize when i'm not getting bites and i know there are bass around... however i end up with a bunch of dinks better than getting skunked i guess
