amazing show... couldn't really expect any less

The smallmouths in my area look like that as well... there are ones with that coloring and ones with a darker coloring with a bluish-purple hue

I've let senkos sit out (not on purpose), but I didn't really notice any difference

I got to use the senkos with the heat shrink tubing, and it was amazing... now if only i could just never snag i don't think i'd ever lose a senko

I get these no name ones at a local bait store. I usually get the x-large ones, even though they are still pretty small

I use the tube hooks with the rattle... i can't remember who makes them

I have an occasional one die from the eye hooking but usually at least 80% of the ones i eye hook live. They usually get hooked on the side of the eye, not straight through the middle

I bank fish the majority of the time as well. I carry 2 rods: a 7' MHF Avid and a 6'6" MF Avid

Thats not a bad idea... i really don't like the o-ring method but i might give that a try. where do you get heat shrink tubing?

i drop all my settings to very loose and drop the rod tip and pull out line at the same time so that it will drop vertically i rarely backlash when pitching

I unfortunately have done this quite a few times... they usually do lose they eye but i've caught a lot of bass with only one functional eye... i manage to do it quite a bit on soft plastics :-[
