I've had no trouble with setting the hook... i use it predominately with treble hook lures and i have not had any problem whatsoever. Perhaps they are saying that when you set the hook the line might dig into the reel a little, but that is easily solved by dropping down the drag.

i bought a pinnacle solene once from walmart, broke the anti reverse in like 2 months, traded it for another one, broke that anti reverse in like 2 weeks, looked at the inertias at walmart, noticed that one of them already had its anti reverse broken... then decided it was worth coughing up the extra money for quality

Does anyone have one of these and what do they think of it? I really like the 6 pin centrifugal brake in the Revo S... and i have over $100 in rewards points... Worth the money?

I had a bluegill try to bite a 5" senko once.... i actually reeled him in and he had about half an inch of senko in his mouth and refusing to let go. When I tried pulling him out of the water he just fell off though... pretty amusing sight though
