  3. Just out of curiousity, how are the action of these compared to the senko? I love senkos but they get quite expensive at the rate of one per fish...
  4. I would go with 1/8 oz rooster tails in various different colors
  5. i'm sure you'll be fine... i have a pack without the casing and they are doing just fine

I prefer Gamakatsu or Owner hooks... usually I use as big of a hook as i can get away with without sacrificing any of the action of the worm
  10. i'm a softie ;D
  11. Where I fish I know a guy who fishes the zoom salty centipede religiously. Green pumpkin texas rigged with a small sinker a foot to a foot and a half above it. He just lifts and drops or drags it and seems to do very well on it.

Very true... I always check on that and retie the swivel on frequently. I've also bent swivels easily on hooksets and occasionally broken one or two. I use the fast snaps on crankbaits, as they are much more durable...
  13. I remember that... back last winter I got a nice AC70MHF for 40% off... couldn't really beat that

I use swivels mainly because of the ease of switching lures
  18. thats what i would guess... i doubt it will affect the action of the lure at all, and if so very minimally
  19. 5" berkley power shakey worm in either red shad or watermelon candy... probably watermelon candy
  20. I figured that it would be something like that... it was still interesting getting a bomber bill dance edition fat free guppy out of an excalibur box
  21. i fish 5in ones on spot removers and bagley shakey heads... they've been working phenomenal this year
  22. Does anyone know what the exact relationship between these two companies are? I was at Dicks today and saw that there were some Excalibur crankbaits on sale for $2.99. Upon looking at these, I saw some fat free fingerlings and fat free guppys that looked exactly like the bomber ones. I even found one that said bomber on one side and it was a bill dance model fat free guppy. Me, being the person who loves bombers, picked up a few of these and hey now live happily with my other bombers in my tacklebox. However... I am still very curious why I got a Bomber Bill Dance Fat Free Guppy out of a Excalibur package. I know Bomber uses Excalibur hooks... Are they like the Kinami/Yamamoto relationship?? Someone enlighten me... so i can go buy more
