  1. Also, is a Suwannee Bass fair game? You will need a close up side photo to prove it is a Suwannee, but it is fair game.
  2. What city will you be staying in? What lakes are you interested in? Bringing your boat or fishing from the shore? Getting a guide or striking out on your own? Artificial or live bait? This is the best time of the year to fish in central Florida and the weather will be good next week. A little more info and I can set you up.
  3. rods - fenwick, abu, st croix reels - revo line - powerpro, berkley big game soft bait - Bitters, Megastrike, Gitem, Gambler storage - Stratos 201 pro

I have all my pics on photobucket and direct link them from there. On the post page click the 3rd button from the left, looks like a stamp, then insert the direct link from photobucket between the closed brackets.
  5. Me too. I had mine in for service last week and there is a 210 Elite DC sitting in the showroom. I think I wiped most of the drool off of it. :

  7. Just like a tree. Single stalk at the bottom, bushy at the top. Now imagine a forest that is easy to walk around in and so thick at the top that you can't see the sun. That is what hydrilla looks like. I punch heavy hydrilla and maidencane with a texas rig. 65 lb power pro, 7-9 fenwick heavy swimbait rod, 7.1-1 revo, eagle bobber stop, 1 oz tungsten punch weight, KO hangover skirt, 4-0 EWG Superline hook, and a megabug. Completely weedless, heavy duty, and easy to rig.
  8. I went to Stick Marsh for the first time by myself...BUT.. I had a good map, lots of advice and was at idle speed most of the time on the Marsh side. I would talk to Steve P about it first. http://www.stickmarshproguideservice.com/ He gave me good info and We even saw him on the lake.
  9. X2 Nicole has nothing but Fenwick and St croix rods, KVD and Clunn Signature reels and her own compartment in the boat where she keeps HER stuff. If I hide anything, it's to keep her from stealing it. ;D ;D
  10. Does not really matter...but, usually the positive wire will come out of the center of the socket.
  11. As long as the record can be verified, you can use it.
  12. Right on the money...With my kids or nephews there is tons of pressure to put them on fish. Nothing more satisfying than the smile on there face with a big fish.
  13. Upon further review.... Closing date has been extended to June 12th to give our Canadian eerrrrr Minnesotan members two weekends to play. FD
  14. You got whacked because it was advertising a tourney that was NOT "not for profit." I got whacked once too. Lee
  15. Yep, bad hair Vince. That one came out of Hatch pitchin to buggy whips on Friday. The other one is Daniel on Kissimmee with a swim jig in the pads. This warm weather has the fish on Kissimmee wacked out. With the water down about 3 feet the bigger fish have been out on the outside edges of the vegetation with the smaller guys in the shallows on the beds. The big girls have to move up soon. I'm goin out of Grape Hammock with a client on Sunday so I will have a new report for you guys.
  16. I switch sometimes. I hurt my shoulder a few years ago and had to learn to cast with my left hand. Most of the time I cast with my right hand and make the switch just as the bait hits the water. Most of the time when I'm pitchin or flippin it is with my left hand.
  17. You keep making those comments Sam and I will break out my Tarheel hat. : I grew up a only couple hours south of you.
  18. In todays market the bank will be happy to get 5k and cut their losses. It depends on how hungry the dealer is. I would start below low retail.
  19. I had the same problem last year. Turns out a starter rebuild solved my problem. The bottom brushes corroded and only made contact some of the time.
  20. Did a couple of trips this week and here is what we found.
  21. Well....it was 81 degrees today with a lite breeze out of the south. Yea, I'm ok with WINTER fishing. :

  23. 2009 Gary Fisher Opie. We have some nasty trails built in old phosphate mines around here and I have gottten pretty good at crashing without getting hurt to bad.
  24. It has been my experience the fishing the wind blown bank produces fish. Up to about 15 mph. Then it get to hard to feel a bite. I have read that wind stirs up the food source for bait fish which causes them to feed which causes bass to feed on the bait fish. I don't know if that is true but all other things being equal, I will take the wind.
  25. For comparison, I have a 21 ft Stratos with an 60 lb 24v tm and can get 3.2 mph on the gps.
