Slowest buzzbait
Strike king triple wing is prob the slowest. In fact I own two and cannot even try to burn it or even run a moderate speed.I t seems to roll over too easy when not worked at its slowest.Has a very subtle natural sound almost like somebody taking care of their bussiness after drinking too much coffee in the morning.LOL Do like Cavitron better though. It is extremely slow.Is loud but in a good way.Not obnoxious like some of the clacker types.Seems to get on plane faster than anything I ever used.

Which do you enjoy more???
Almost took the words outa my mouth there jb_adams.I too am with everyone else who is torn between the two.I am about 50/50 equal on the issue. If I had a bad day on the water a little shopping makes me happy. There is also nothing better than the pleasure of using a nice piece of equipment.Buying a new box and organizing my awesome collection.Catching on a new item is great too, except then bait monkey usually makes me go out and buy any or all colors/sizes of that item even after I catch a dink on it. :-/

Zoom Trick Worm Colors
I too use the worm with great success with a variey of techniques.Have NOT used any of the bright gawdy colors yet in these. They just look too weird. Was serching and reading but have seen very little about whether these "crazy colors" will work well in staind, muddy, clear water.Basically which type of water you throw the crazy ones in?Is it still just a general rule with these to use the dark ones (ie:junebug, black) in tannic or dark water,or will the bright ones work in these situations? Most of the water I fish is heavy stain or tannic. Was trying to maybe get an edge,or rather show the fish something different or crazy. Any suggestions?

Favorite bait to fish and most productive bait....
Color,.....hmmmm....we also caught on Pumpkin, watermelon swirl, dark grn pumpkin, red bug, black, watermelon red flake , watermelon pepper and tomato core, lol Color doesn't matter, they want the wiggle!! My favorite bait, this year anyway, was the jitterbug. Was the most fun and caught my PB for the season (7lbs11oz) Pb on a jitterbug?? Great! I couldnt catch a fish on that thing if it jumped right in the boat! I still try though since it looks so cool. Most productive? Have to say the dt flat series 3 and 7 chart purple back or olive shiner when sunny. For soft plastics most productive yamamoto kut tails 6.5 junebug or black/blue. Hands down favorite to fish? Mini Chug Bug hot frog or gizzard shad.PB on this lure this year 9lb 2 oz.

Bait buying compulsive disorder.....
Right i agree Tony. Not just when I need something to do,but I also go to dicks or bps after a bad day on the water with the hopes to find something new that "will get em next time". Humor aside, fishing is a hobby to me but so is tackle collecting.I just like to have it,even though may not need it,and god knows we could find a lot worse things to spend our money on.

Stanley spinnerbaits
Ahh,thats right could not remeber the name "glitter plus" Thanks for the refresh there.Cheers. The sports authoritys around here in my part of Florida dont carry stanleys at all any more, their selections of items are mostly saltwater as I live on the coast, same with kmart and wally world. For my bassin gear I am always better off to drive an hour and half to BPS or order on line. Thanx for the replies guys if anyone sees any around somewhere, let me know.I dont have any exp in painting lures or anything as of yet.I am just now getting ready to start to buy items to repair/replace broken skirts,as most of the "pre-made ones I see on the market I dont like. I think those striped baits may have worked so well for me when I lived in OH because its a dead on look alike for a couple small perch coming through the water.

Stanley spinnerbaits
Have been searching for quite some time now for stanley 3/8 or 1/8 spinnerbaits, double willow painted blades.White stripe,or chart, especially the white.Blades are basically tiger striped skirt mix black and white.Far as I can tell they dont make em any more.Used to buy em at K-mart upwards of about 7-8 years ago and havent seen them since.Believe it is a stanley wedge and not the titanium variety.when I lived up north OH was one of the best I ever used.Am looking to buy. Any info? Cant find them on ebay either. Please PM me or email jstn_groom@yahoo.com Thanks fellow bassmates, tight lines Justin

net bait products
lol,one pincer?? I'll give it a try, since I have already thrown out several good baits that had a gimp arm on em.they break pretty easy, but I guess thats the sacrifice for great action.

What are your favorite Spinnerbait trailers?
One I was using since i was a kid is a zoom fluke(regular, not super).Doesnt have the kickin action, but gives the bait a nice real lookin profile. On the bad side these must be rigged perfectly straight.
-
Shaky Worm
I've also been stickin craws on em and had good results recently,on the spot remover in particular. For worms, every one knows the trick worm is one of the best.

Differing Opinions on Water Clarity and Lure Color
Agreed.Junebug has got to be the number one along with red shad for soft plastics that is.For the faster moving "action lure"spinners, buzzers, cranks, nice bright and loud colors seem to out produce in the tanic and murky waters I fish a lot here in florida. If you can, try the 6.5 inch yamamoto kut tail worm. This lure puts off a lot more vibration than you may think when rigged weightless, and seems to work a little better in the dark water at times when it seems like you gotta smack one on the forehead to get a bite.Just do nothing, dont twitch too much, just kinda wind it in a little or raise it every now and then.

Top Water Senko
Ya, but hasnt anybody ever heard of using to sort of walk the dog? Especially atop weeds or scum moss? You gotta work it kinda quick, but if and when you find one fish hitting it this way,you will stand to load the boat.Really wanna give this a whirl?Try the yamamoto Kut Tails Series 6.5 inch instead, and seems to me that those outproduce the senko every time except wacky rigged. Forgot to mention in order to pull this off the rod must be held upward about 10 oclock on semi slack line twitches, develope a rythym, it really seems to irritate the hell out of em some days when you know they are there but wont hit a frog.
