  1. Hmm i'm not going to lie to you i have no experience with swimbaits, but it seems to me 30lb braid is a little thin it may dig considering you will be casting heavy baits, for casting and flipping i go no less than 50 and like 65 second enless you will be fishing gin clear water imho it doesn't matter thats just me. Plus your bait will be moving unless you dead stick it you can even opt for a 30lb flouro leader which should be fine with a uni-uni yeah , i fish pretty clear water and the fish are highly pressured , the lake is pretty small compared to most lakes . i want to use a low-profile baitcaster , that's why i want an alternative to huge mono line and a soup can baitcaster . i think ill go with 30# power-pro for swimbaits under 3 ozs. and 40# for heavier swimbaits . but i think i will definetly try some 25# cxx for leaders , tied on my 30 and 40 # braid . yeah , i love the uni-uni knot for my line connections to each other. Be careful of the line digging in the spool and your line stopping but the momentum of a 3 oz bait is still there say bye bye worse an 80 dollar lure.
  2. 1. cumara 7'2 hm xf for t'rigs 2. carrotstick 7'9 xh f for trigs and an occasional swimbait.

  4. Line capacity, line capacity, line capacity.
  5. Funny how things work that is one heck of a reel you have yourself.
  6. What do you perfer for that presentation, may seem odd but for spinnerbaits i love the 6' 10'' mh extra fast cruical i have. Where as lots of people have a softer rod and a shorter one. for plastics you want that stiff hook set maybe a fast actions right for you or for crankbaits a slow sweep a parobolic may suit your needs.
  7. ;D Thats a pretty good sale I would jump on it if i had a dicks within reach.
  8. Where do you find the time? I got a chuckle out of that.
  9. Ahh now I know why, Thanks for covering that.

DUDE your from missasauga im from ajax where do you go fish?
  11. Very interesting the denied the over the counter , do you know if it was because it was not a major problem with the rod ex. if the rod had broke do you think the retailers would have taken it back?
  12. You need to step back and look at yourself Chaddy, you have been here only 50 days more than me and you have 3 times as many posts than I do so lets not talk about padding post counts : : Also this is one of the best threads I have seen Snapper G make. More MONSTER frogs are being made and sold. Frogs bigger than 5 inches with LARGE profiles. The even Spro is designing a really big hollow body frog So I think a post about how these frogs produce, tips/tactics is in order along with hook ideas etc.,etc. Quite frankly I opened this thread to read about the new wave of big frogs not a bunch of guys bashing a member for being energetic and hungry for information That OCD comment was disgusting :-/, and it takes alot to disgust me I made it 20 minutes into the movie Fool's Gold ;D Snapper I think you should purchase these frogs and test them out for us, then post here with your results. You are from Florida the frogin' state ;D I have 3 posts a day, and in the last month I have posted about 6 posts, seconds threads are different I BELIEVE it is far from necessary to may 50 gazillion threads on the topic BY THE SAME AUTHOR how about we make a from thread, or maybe a snapper g thread quite amusing I would read it, third I come off awfly strong because many people have said again and again look elsewhere.
  13. Seriously now do you have ocd? You are taking up bandwidth by making these threads regularly are you trying to raise your post count or something? You could have gone in you old thread and posted it there or do a quick search, hmm even think logically well, if it is the same design as this from and it work this might? Is it hard to ask to not make 5 million threads a day.
  14. I have no personal experience, but I feel responsible to inform you that many have had drag problems with this reel, I can recommend a daiwa hsta though beautiful reel. If you don't want to spend 160 you can go on ebay and get one for 120 dollars and you will not be dissapointed great all around baitcaster.
  15. My man, many breakthroughs in bass fishing bave occured by accident, chance, luck or by inquisitive minds that ask "what if ?" Gotta understand that fish can react positively or negatively, bait works or doesn 't work, but not working today doesn 't mean it won 't work tommorrow. Holes in a buzzbait blade ? I don 't see any reason why they wouldn 't work. You drill holes in the blade two things can happen: 1.- Bait doesn 't run properly, oh well, you screwed up a buzzbait, it ain 't that much of a deal, you "lost" a couple of bucks. 2.- Did the job right, bait runs properly and because it emits different vibration, has different pitch or whatever then it may work or not, the only way to know is to try, simple. A dude was having breakfast while fishing, drops accidentaly his spoon into the lake, a fish bites it as it flutters down to the bottom and the Daredevil spoon was born. Great post
  16. LOL I was waiting for it i really think it is unnecessary to make a gazillion threads of each lure.
