Lets say you break a rod for whatever reason and need another for x date/ time with shimano stroll into a cabelas or bps etc. pick up a new one, and you're back in business.

Personal choice I don't fish cranks or swimbaits too much, but I like a spinner bait rod with a tip with give and a strong back bone my buzzbait sb rod is a 6' 10'' mh rod which they say is a xf tip love it to death. Work great with rattle traps aswell. my2cents

Add symtre it is tough I know because my brother has had one from since I can remember read drag and im still fishing it today. Daiwa capricorn and daiwa ss700 the ss700 favourite reel of all time caught more fish on it that anything built touch first spinning reel ever for me for what? 5-6 years. If you can find fenwick hmg on sale i rave about these light balanced beautiful rod with the red carbon weave in fact have it in my hands right now. Primere sp? nice rod, but the reel seat slipped more than once while fishing. All based of my experience not much, but hey I'm credible ;D
