  1. Dad knows sound Q. Sounds like the kind of set up I would do in a redlinerobert car. All super clean (yet super expensive) componenrs right there. The Utopias are a great speaker but not hundreds of dollars better than a high end component set IMO. Never heard the hertz stuff but that zapco 1100/1 is in high demand on the used market if it's the old school white one. Hertz, check out the (top of the line) mille series very good stuff. http://www.hertzaudiovideo.com/default_en.htm
  2. It would be perfect to add suggest and pictures of jig types.
  3. My dad has been into car audio for years right now it's 2 12" Hertz Hi- energy (made in Italy Baller!) Up front component 6.5" zapco competition speakers. In the back 2 5.25" Hertz hi energy speakers 1 Zapco competition 375:4 watts and 1100:1. An alpine 9887 deck and audio control three to one. He is trying to sell 13" focal utopia subs
  4. You got D.R. to do it? No, I did it myself. The first one was a little slow but I was afraid of messing up so I took my time. Nothing to it now. D.R. should get the credit for the great idea though. I followed his diagram and his parts list. He's a good guy for sure.[/quote What drag system setup did you revert to?
  5. Because flukes obviously catch everything. :
  6. water conditions i guess but i do not think matching the hatch is that important
  7. ;D Im 100% sure its the line doing it cause ive gone through three rods now and there is nothing else that could cause this other than the guides being cheap. (sorry my dad called them eyelids since I was a kid ) I just don't know what else to try since ive gone all the way up to stainless steel and its still happining. Ive already talked to the guys in the fishing department at sportsmans warehouse and they told me if it happend on my last rod I could take it back and return it which I probably should of done. I guess I could just buy an expensive rod and keep taking it back every time this happens but then I would have to restring line and go though the mess of having birds nests with new line. ugh :-/ ( I photoshoped a pic to show what I mean but I cant post it till I have 10 posts...) :-[ Wolfy Just do it, you know you want good guides go with a glx custom built spiral wrapped with titanium frames and gold ceremet guides. for low monthy payments
  8. http://www.vxb.com/page/bearings/PROD/5mm/Kit7598 Depend what your using the reel for? I like to stick with the daiwa's, but i cannot deny the quality of shimano.
  9. What the heck are you talking about. :-/
  10. buy a good rod and not go through all the troubles.
  11. How so? The extreme performs as well as the curado. I have several of both and although the Curado is considered the better reel, I personally prefer the extreme. I see no contradiction. If you do, fine. The point is that I have all of the above reels and like them but the extreme is my favorite and is the best value IMO. Shimano Curado is the better than the other 3 :-/
  12. Daiwa advantage hsta!
