I can find a song i like in any genre of music. Lately it has been Pantera, Metallica, L.O.G, Staind,Foo Fighters and Chevelle. I was born into a Country music family so im a big fan from the oldies to the new.

Also finding a decent rod and reel for 60$ is kind of hard. In my opinion, the best advice on rod/reel selection for 60$ i can give would be go to wal mart and buy a Lightning Rod, i would suggest a MEDIUM power FAST action. As for a reel, Abu Garcia Cardinal 300. I think paired with the Medium power Lightning Rod would get you started. Im sure others will chime in and give you a few more suggestions. A few of us have been in your boat and it can get overwhelming but 1 thing you should remember is, its just fishing.

Anybody had this before? INCREDIBLE. It's the best bbq sauce I have had so far. I had Sweet Baby Rays with a side of chicken and mash potatoes for dinner. I think i used half the bottle.

I am in the exact same boat right now. The last time I went fishing was 2 weeks ago, I got ONE bite and missed the hook up. I ended up swimming. I have really got into my truck as of late and am consumed with it. I hope I get the fire back sooner or later. Don't worry, give it a little bit and you'll be back out there before you know it.

Reel Lubrication Question wouldn't a fresh water bait run and act differently in a salt environment, different buoyancy and all that? Tight Lines!!!! It didn't dawn on me until i was walking away from my computer that we have our very own reel expert here on the forums, i said Micro because he seems like he has the most hours with the STX. I think you would be better off at the lake although, if your just throwin' around some baits for a little bit I don't see the harm as long as you give it a proper cleaning afterwards. Im sure Micro will have some good info when he gets here.

It was very cool yesterday (Tuesday). It's quite a change from 108 degree weather, which i really really don't miss. I am a winter kind of guy anyways. I would rather be out fishing in 40 degree weather with light rain than in march or april 8-).

That definitly won't work cuz he is a wimp and i would probly break his nose and would twist his arm outta socket.....i've suggested we get boxing gloves and headgear so when it gets heated we can duke it out, but he said no... what might that mean? Have you tried accepting the fact that he is younger and is going to act that way? Just take it with a grain of salt, its going to happen again trust me .
