  1. I noticed in 2007 there was a cuple get togethers at Okeeheelee. Will there be anything planned for this year?
  2. Dont listen to these guys. Hey I dont see anything wrong with having a bunch of hobbies. Girls just get you into trouble and take up all your fishing time. As far as raising night crawlers goes, I cant help much. Just make sure whatever you decide to use to house your crawlers is out of direct sunlight. Also use a nutrient rich topsoil when setting up your night crawler habitat.
  3. 3 Bar Bass?, Whats that a Peacock Bass?

  8. Well Sunday was slow to say the least. We had a cold front move through overnight. I found a few deep pockets with a ton of fish. Was only able to manage one small fish. Seems like they had a bad case of lock jaw.

  15. Since were on this topic.... Who would you consider to be the better "ANGLER." The guy that goes out and consistently finds and lands "tournament" size bass. Or the guy that goes out and lands Large fish Sporadically. Also if tournament fishing isnt the best way to become a better angler, What is?
  16. Seems like that lake Has a bunch of Giant Carp. That is one FAT pig.
  17. Wow... I paid $2.63 Yesterday here in West Palm Beach!! > I cant believe how the price can vary soo much.
  18. Definetly some creepy stories! Heres mine. In 2005 me and my wife went on our honey moon to St. Augustine, FL. We stayed at a small bed and breakfast called "Alexander Homestead Bed & Breakfast" The home was built in 1888, when you walk in to the House it feels as if you just went back in time. During our stay, we had the whole house to our selves. One morning before dawn, as I lay in the bed I hear the knob for the shower slowly creek to the on position. Then the water turns on and starts running. At this point seeing that my wife is still in the bed, I flip out. So I run to the bathroom, swing open the door and the noise stops instantly. The shower is in the Off position and the shower area is completely dry. So I check all the other rooms in the house, and nothing. At this point im thinking to my self "I don't understand is going on here", so I decided to just go back to bed and forget about it. As I lay in the bed now with the bathroom door wide open, I find myself laying there watching the shower area for movement. After about twenty minutes I find myself starting to doze off, just as my eyes are starting to close "BAM!!!!!!!!!!" The bathroom door slams shut and the shower turns on. Needless to say we packed our bags and left ASAP.
  19. Lake Okeechobee? Lake Osbourne? Lake Ida? Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge? Thousands of suburban neighborhood lakes?

Why was it $8 for one weight? That sounds a little steep.
  21. Why is it that the lake must be NEW? Do older lakes start to get overpopulated with smaller bass, therefore eliminating the abundance of prey for the few BIG fish? Also why must it be a moderate climate? Dont Bass Flourish in places like Cuba and Mexico.. I dont know thats why I am asking.. I have always thought that a native fish to Florida would be in it's optimal growing conditions in it's native enviorment.
  22. This should be good...
  23. If he didnt get it mounted what did he keep it for. Please tell me yall at least ate it?
  24. As an Auto Repair Shop owner, one thing I can suggest is this. Mechanics are not robots / and cars are not perfect. If a mechanic could check out a car and tell you 100% what the problem was. Then tell you exactly how long it will take him to fix it. He Would be a Psychic. Remember Murphy's Law next time you drop off a car, "if anything can go wrong, it will."
