    Does anyone know where you can buy the naked jig heads they sold? The company was sold to Case Plastics but they don't sell the jig heads.
  3. Been using Bagley Balsa b's since the 70's square billed still catching fish on them.I was wondering did KVD swap out the hooks for red ones, another joke.

This post is great.I also started fishing in 1956.My dad and uncle took my brother and me fishing in the same area where they fished as kids.Caught my first a smallmouth,looked to be about 5lbs.probably was 10inches.My dad brought us rods and reels at a farmers market.Ever hear of Ocean City reels? One more thing,I am still using the Bagley B'S I bought in the 70s.

The Upper Bay is a great fishing area.The Northeast,Bohemian,and the Sassafras rivers just to name a few are good places to start.The water will not bother your boat.The Delaware river north of Wilmington all the way up to Trenton N.J. All are tidal waters, go to Saltwatertides.com to find the tide changes.Good luck.

  11. Going down to the river in October was wondering if anyone has fished there lately.How has the bite been?
  12. Our club decided back in the winter that our tournaments would stay within an hour and a half drive one way.Only one a month not that bad when you split the cost.As for just fishing locally I have two rivers and a lake close by the price won't stop me from doing what I enjoy.
  13. I use a stabilizer every time I fill up.was told to do that many years ago by a mercury outboard tech.
  14. I live in Phoenixville in SE.PA.will be fishing a club warm up tourny this Sunday on the Schuykill river at Norristown.Will post how the tourny went next week.

  16. Schuykill river is high and muddy around black rock area so it is probably high everywhere.go to marsh creek, probably your best chance for catching bass.senkos,flukes,jerk baits good early choices.on the river spider jigs, brush hogs small crankbaits.good luck

  18. Thanks for the info.Have also fished the areas around Snow Hill with much sucess.You might want to try an area they call the shute.it's around marker 13.Very narrow.Have had good sucess throwing senkos weightless with the tide.

  22. I was just thinking of the Presidents stimulus package.If this pases Congress we all could get somewhere between 600 and 1200 dollars.Then the bait monkey could be credited with helping to jump start the economy.
  23. read about the coffee tubes.made a pot of coffee dumped the grounds in a ziplock bag.put some four inch zoom worms in bag let sit for a few days.have used them on quite a few fishing trips so far one fish.
