i was thinking about gettin one this year for my med dive baits not a big fan of deep divers

I heard using a swivel takes away from the action of the bait, but im not sure if that is true about soft plastics. Me, i tie baits on all the time.

ive decided i'll use the rod i have now for plastics but what type of rod for cranks?

ya i use my 6'6" spinning rod for everything to. but im going to get a 6'6" baitcaster around feb.

atm i have a 6'6" medium action spinning rod with 12lb mono that i do everything with.....cuz its my only rod :-[ ,but wat could i use it for?

Could i use the same pole i use for crankbaits as for fishing with plastics? If no, why not?

wat about a cabelas tournament ZX FS casting rod that has a 6:1 gear ratio and a 6'6" shimano convergence rod and wat is the difference betwen a one peice rod and a two peice rod?

im 14 and pretty new to fishing atm i own 6 or 6.5 ft daiwa rod with a daiwa spinning reel i wanna get a baitcaster cuz i wanna get more serious about my fishing. wat would u recomend for a first baitcasting rod and reel on about a $80 budget. i really love fishing and would apreciate any help thanks

its a shiny black and white slashbiat it is about 3.5in it also has a red sparkle tail on the back hook. Any tips on how i should fish it? kinda new to lure fishing :
