i used a pack of hooks in one day, why? because i lost them to hangups or bad knots, i think the bait monkey is trying to tell me somthing. :-?

I have a XPS bionic blade rod, 6=6 MH, spinning, i love it, i plan to buy a few more if they still have them at bassproshops, they are on sale i think for $50

I've found that the monkey is good at burning thigns...like holes is my walet.

only 1 ft of visibility, nice stiff breeze, and a sky with only a few clouds. I am a master of the murky water

Has anyone been here before and if so is there any good fishing?

i had this problem too this year, i had thrown everything i could think, so i stoped fishing for about 3 or 4 weeks and then started up agian, i started catching fish with th lures i had had no luck with. What is the water clarity, is it really murky where you have only a 1ft of visability or can u see to the bottom?

Yup, makes a great rim treatment on a margarita too. Keeps lips from getting chapped and from what I'm told, it stings like a mother when it gets in your eyes. ;D you dont think it was pee?...erm...uh...ew...

So it looked like a bad day of fishing. It was windy, there were big dark clouds over my head, and no one else had been catching anything. i tied on a chartruse buzzbait which usually owrke. after probly 100-150 casts (not lieing), i just wanted to go home, but then i saw a big ol' bass swim on by almost a foot away. I switched up to my go-to-bait-if-im-about leave-because-i-aint-catching-nuthin lure, which would be a texas rigged 7in berkly power worm. I cast out into a small pocket in the weeds. i must have casted right on top of a fish cuz the moment that the worm hit the water, FISH ON! He didnt put up i fight, it was more just dead weight, it was when i went to go lip him that he started freaking out and got water on me. Now the reason why the title is a fish peed on me is, well its just that, a fish peed on me! i couldnt grab his lip because that is where the hook is, so i grab him by the belly, i guess i squezzed him to hard because i felt somthing wet on my leg and looked at the fish, he was peeing.......on my leg....... I caught 2 other fish, another nice one and a dink.

Congrats!!!!!WOOO!!!!! I have also caught my first bass this year, not to day but about a month ago!

Can somone tell me if there being wind would cause bass to move or be more or less agressive?

try spinner baits or buzzbaits, or t-rigged worms, i do shore fishing too and those are pretty much all i use because there are plenty of weeds where i fish also.

i actually did the casting in the yard thing with a 1/2oz weight, casting at a frisbee. could hit almost 90% of the time. and when i didn't hit it, i was pretty much right next to it.

my strong hand is my right, but i retreive with my left and hold my rod with my right, is that normal?

well i have my spinning rod that i use for my soft plastics, what kind of rod or reel do you sugest for spinners/buzzbaits?

i wanna buy a baitcasting rod and reel, does anyone buy the rod/reel combos or do you buy everything seperate?

I'm all ready and geared up to go fishin today, got my highly prized Berkly Power-worms, some cranks, and one buzzbait. I also had some some wildeye vibra lures i bought and wantee to try out. I get to my fishing spot all ready , got my rod, my tackle, a Power-aid, but...looks like i left my Berkly Power-worms at home :'(. so i tohughg ide try some cranks, no luck on those. Next i got out my wildeye vibra jig lures. All of a sudden i see 5 or 6 big Gar pike swim by, nice and slow, just cruising about. I quickly threw my lure about 20 ft infrot of wher they had been,.....nothing. After trying all the cranks i had, taking a different approach on how to fish them each time, i finally tied on teh buzzbait. Now this buzz bait was nothing special at all, it was a $1 buzzbait i had bought from walmart.. after a few casts with now luck i moved to another spot where i could see some weeds lying under the water. then i see somthing smack at the surface of the water. I quickly cast my buzz bait 10 ft past the little splashing that had just occured. as the buzzbait splashes over that spot, i see a big ol' hawg watch it, he never bit it though. "A few more casts and then im moving!" i thoguht to myself, i was really hoping to catch that bass. i cas,again, to that spot i saw the hawg. SPLOOSH! FISH ON! after a 40 second fight, i grab the beast and have a look at her. she was a little over 6lbs. And those WMDs i found, were buzzbaits throuout the day i casted to weedy areas and caught many 3-4lb bass. i think the buzzbait is my new confidince bait. the only bad thing bout this day is that my arms are as red as a cherry :-[

this happens at the canal i fish, excet there are some big pike and gar pike, ive seen some birds that dive into the water and not come back out, and ive seen a gar pike eat a baby goose,

Yesterday i went out on a 4 hour fishing outing, caught 3 decent LM, my dad cought 2. It was the first day i had my porized glasses on. Whoa., i saw stumps, logs, rocks, weeds, and FISH, i watched 4 or 5 bass just kinda playing tag with eachother, and a few gar pike swimmin around(chassing off bass ) before i realized there was a fish on the end of my line. So that is the blessing, you can see the fish and everything else down there. The curse, you let your lure go by the fish you see and they dont bite it. It is like they know you are watching so they aint gonna bite your lure just to make you mad. Sometimes i think fish are smater than we have come to think. :-[

I put one on only when I am going to a different position to fish but when im casting and stuff u take one off....... :-[i've fallen into the water before but never had anytrouble, just had my friend help me back in or climbed in myself.

At the moment i fish at metro beach and havn't been to Anchore bay yet, but i didnt like that place too much. Anyone know of some good waters to hit up, lakes, rivers, bays, I don't have boat either so im only fishing from banks or docks obviously.

I'm new to Bass fishing and i touched the bottom lip of a bass and feels like if he would flip out it could tear some skin. Have you ever bled or got some pain by lipping a fish?

I'm a pistons fan but, i wouldn't mind losing to a great team like the celtics, KG is a beast. PSSSST you guys do need to win a road game or we are gonna just own you guys, we do have one of the craziest group of fans, not gonna lie. GOOD LUCK :
