Ya metro beach is really slow this time of year i guess. In spring it is awsome though, prepare to go threw a pack of worms a day!

so somthing that i should mabey do is look for weed beds now in creeks and channels and in coves, and then when they start to disapper throw in a fluke/spinner/crank or any other minnow mimicing bait? And will it be more easy to catch fish from shor, cuz i aint got no boat! :'(

Have a powerfull rod and higher quality line like fireline, you feel everything! Even when they just inhale your bait!

Been fishing a place called Metro beach that is off of lake saintclair and things have slowed down . Anyone got any golfcourses or lakes/rivers/ponds that are good fishing in southeast michigan that they are willing to give up?

Why am i being compared to people that use a bow and arrow to catch food? like bassin blvd said, compared to amazon tribes that probly never touched money, they probly use beads to trade!

I was fishing a lake that is really bad in clarity, so I first tried bright colors like, chartruse, white, and pink baits, (because thats what i heard, bright baits for low clarity water) all day. I got 3 fish, not bad for one day by my standards, well I switched to my natural colors, like dark green, brown, motoroil and watermelon. Guess what, I caught 13 fish. That is 10 more fish that I caught that I didn't the day before. same weather, little cloud cover, and in the mid 70's from about 3 till 7. So I would suggest trying the basic rules and if that dosn't work try somthing different. Even if it does work try somthing different, till you find what seems to work the best. That definitly won't work cuz he is a wimp and i would probly break his nose and would twist his arm outta socket.....i've suggested we get boxing gloves and headgear so when it gets heated we can duke it out, but he said no... what might that mean?

so my brother, 3 years younger than me. Me being 15, him being 12. Is the biggest baby ever. i got into a discussion with him about a game, blah blah blah. he said "Not really" ina a normal voice and laughed like i was being rediculus. So i said "Ya really" in the same tone he did, with a little laughter, JUST LIKE HIM! Then he asks why i always argue with him :-? and i was like " What are you kidding me nick?! u need some freaking hearing aids bro!" then he proceeds to go into his room and be ticked off, so i stop him and tell him to stop being ***. so before i go any farther lemme explain, all teenagers say it, *** nowadays means STUPID, well now i have a cuzin who is *** and i have been trying to stop, cuz it is mean :-[. so nick thinks im really callin him *** as in likes men and gets even more made. He takes thing WAY to hard. and when i call him names i do it cuz i feel like im with my friends, because that is what my brother is a friend to me. better than a friend though, but you know what i mean So now i think he went to his friends house, not sure which one, and when i find him......ooooooohhhhhhh......i dont even know!

well i don't know what bed fishing is so ya... but what produced for me was a lightly weighted worm and i casted paralelle(spelling) to weeds or rip rap and it worked everytime! So do the fish go shallow?

First year fishing and i don't really know what happens in the transition from summer to fall, and in fall itself. So, would my techniques for spring work for fall? I've heard fall is as good as spring or better, so im gettting pretty anxious ;D

All this talk about confdince and wisdom and knowledge has my head hurting. Here is a def. from dictionary.com(you should add that to your favorites!) Confidince-full trust; belief in the powers, trustworthiness, or reliability of a person or thing: We have every confidence in their ability to succeed. I read it over a few times and well confidince,you feel good about what your using, or what facts or "Knowledge" you have stored in your head what i just said was really just a big lump of everything this topic got me thinking about. I think confidince is have that good feeling (that feeling that you can't really explain you know?) about what your doing or using, and when it dosn't work, it breaks it, makes your confidince disapate(spelling?) what a bunch of mumbo jumbo i just out out there, does any of this make sense? :-?

This is my first year that i really got into fishing, spring- to early summer was great! Then it got really hot, and the fish stop hitting on what they usually did, so i switched, switched some more, and switched even more, no luck. Now, from reading the articles, it seems that i either go deep or BUST. (And i dont have a boat, shore fisherman till next year hopefully ) So my question to you is: do i put away the fishing gear until around march when i get it out to inspect and clean, or is there somthing i can do to catch those buggers. OR, is fall fishing any good for a guy that dosnt have a boat?

umm yeah.......but how do the fish get in the ponds :-? do they stock them, fall from the sky? or does some fisherman put them in there himself?

I saw it in a magazine, but how many of you actually do it? Is it rewarding? Is it leagal? How do u know if there are fish in it?

It's my first year fishing and im already feeling burnt out, mabey cuz im 7 min away from good fishing, and i fished every other day, mabey cuz the gar pike a scaring everything away and the fishing is teribble. anyways im taking a break, if u do somthing too much it most likly get boring. People tell me fishing shouldn't be a job, so im takin a break
