  1. Me and my dad found a killer deal on a 2004 with a 2005 evinrude. tr20x series. Didn't mean to hijack thread. But do ya'll know how those are?
  2. I'm not going to lie. It had been sitting in my box for a while untouched. Until yesterday. i brought it with me on a trip to just to see if it would make any difference. You bet it did! I ended up beating the guy in the front of the boat 4 to 1. We would cast in the same place. Sometimes right next to each other. I always got the bite. I was applying to my fly. I would put it on the hair. We were using the float n fly rig. Everything was identical except I had the megastrike on my fly. All I can say is that it worked. It helped me catch fish when fish wouldn't seem to bite a regular lure.
  3. Yup its too thick. I might as well sale these then or trade them for the regular wire ones.
  4. I have the do it football jig, round head jig, round shakey, and the football shakey head molds. They all take the flat eye hooks. I bought some wide gap flat eye hooks. They won't fit. I either got a 3/0 or 4/0 Just wondering if anyone else is having these problems

  14. Your just got to get out there. Start a little web site. Send in your resume. Just never quit. I'm learning about all this stuff right now. I pursued it for three years and finally got one thanks to this forum.
  15. i'd have to say the OL' MONSTER or the Berkley power worm. Strike King soft plastics never have produced for me
  16. 7 ft mh Big bear rod!!! Light and sensitive! Have lots of backbone but enough tip to feel everything and cast a mile!

  18. But to get back on the thread. I'm on a prostaff of a rod company, and I'm President of my bass club in town. Trying to get one started at my highschool. Some of us teenagers know how to work. Granted I wouldn't be have the pro staff position I have. I love fishing and I never want to see it go away. Sometimes all teenagers are looking for is a little encouragement from older people. So we know that they care, and want to help.

  21. I know a boy that takes one 3700 box and some plastic bags...Thats his tackle box every tournament. I get my tail kicked by him alot. I used a BPS boatbag. Mainly because its waterproof. Also academy has some very nice tackle bags for a low price
  22. Bassmaster Classic. Full body paint with all your sponsors logo's painted on. Last day of weigh in. Go running on stage. That'll get your sponsors noticed. Haha! ;D

  24. I would get the sx I feel like its alot better reel for half the price. The stx is just lighter I think
