Ok I just started making jigs in december I started on simple shakey heads. Now I have ventured into jigs and am overwhelmed!!!!! All the skirt colors and hook choices. I have a weedless football head mold that ranges from 1/4 to a half ounce,and a poison jig mold that ranges from 1/2 to 1 ounce. Can a forty strand fiber weed guard fit in the poison jig instead of the 30? And can someone please help me out on what color of skirting material to get to make just the basic watermelons black blues green pumpkin type skirts. :o :o I am so overwhelmed by everything!

ROADWARRIOR! You are missin out on some good carolina rig fishing on the Tennessee. I fish the Chickamauga section of it and good gracious its awsome. I lost a seven pounder on it this summer but I landed aton atleast 200 fish this summer on it. But I would use braid on the main line and fluro leader

My club is still fishing both. But it might be our last year. The BASS sucks anymore. They won't pay for jack. Their not doing casting kids anymore. I mean idk what is the deal with them.

Another cool dropshot rig is putting a shakey Head on the bottom and a hook up top so you have a shakey shot lol

Ya i was thinking about the lipless cranking thing. Its huge here in my area in this time of year. Many 6+ fish caught on these types of baits:)

I have a grayish black carpet with a BLACK boat. Ya it gets hot. But hey. If you love fishing enough do whats best for your boat lol. I have never really had scorching floors.

7'2" Heavy action split grip. It will changer your life. A little bit more rod to get longer cast. And a backbone to set that hook with the heavy sinker. But you could probably get a 7'4" rod and that would be better probably. I just prefer the 7'2"

The basspro shop brand jerkbaits suck. The lips break off the suspend bad. Luckycrafts stop and they walk the dog.

I am having problems with a hook for this mold in the smaller heads.It calls for a gammy 604 but they are too expensive. Do you know a different hook I can use that will fit the smaller heads on this mold?

I am looking into a swimbait/deep crank setup. I would like to use the 7 foot ten Crankin stick. But I dont know on a reel. I dont want to spend anymore than 150 on this setup.
