I think you could make a good arguement for Nixon being number one, but on my list I have him three behind Clunn and Martin . The fact that the public voted him so low probably doesn't bode well for Rick Clunn. He's not flashy and hasn't been in the public eye the last couple of years. On the flip side of that, that's probably good for Roland Martin and KVD. My two cents (probably not worth even one cent).

If they are actually busting the surface, then how could you not try a buzz bait or a topwater--they're just so much fun! But probably, it sounds like prime spinnerbait time, or maybe a lipless crankbait.

I have a PowerDrive 55. In terms of raising and lowering, I haven't had any problems. It is pretty easy. I did like having the smaller cord instead of a big cable bundle. I actually chose not to get the universal sonar. I was not only worried about service, but didn't want to have to add an external temp sensor. I'm actually glad I didn't since I have since sold my boat but kept my motor and electronics. I just bought an eight foot pontoon kick boat, and actually found a way to mount the bow mount powerdrive on the rear (55# motors it!). I added the Copilot remote control steering. It is awesome for the kickboat. I wear the control as a watch, and it works great. I don't carry the foot pedal at all. If you did that, you would have ZERO cables. Good luck.

They are building one near my house in Denver, set to open late in the fall. But until then, I have to fly home to Dallas to see my mom, or more often, fly to see my brother in Vegas! Gotta like a Bass Pro Shops directly connected to a casino! Also, gotta love the Orange County Chopper that looks like a fish.

I have the 55PD with Copilot. I love it. I decided against the universal sonar, mainly because I didn't want to have to add another temp sensor. By the way, the copilot (remote control feature) is pretty nice. I wondered how much I would actually use it, and as it turns out, I use it most of the time.

Just got a Outcast Fishcat Cougar today which has a motor mount for a transom mount trolling motor. I already have a Minn Kota Power Drive bow mount unit that I would like to use and not have to buy another motor. Anyone have any ideas on how to go about mounting that bad boy. I was thinking I might have to go to a metal/welding shop and get them to make me something. Any help would be appreciated.
