For me the chatterbait has worked when other lures don't catch fish as well as catching my personal record. (in my picture) I believe in this lure and use it often.

Most people would have never started fishing if it wasn't for those. Ya know...you do got a point there buddy funny and true.But I still cant stand them. I think that the ugly stick fly rod is the biggest joke in the rod business. You would be better trying to club the fish with it.

Sometimes I rip a soft plastic frog in half and use the legs as a trailer. They have a nice action when the lure sinks.

I just found one of the shad lures that came with my brothers beginners kit. The first thing i noticed was the strong smell of plastic then the eyes fell out. :-? What a piece of *****.

They're more attractive to fisherman than to the fish, point is that storm lures try to make up for poor action with good looks.

I make jigs and spinnerbait bodies on my fly tying vice, it's a good way to go.

Trout was slow last weekend (i cought 1 trout and 5 bass.) However I was tipped off that there should have been a stocking during this week, so i'll be fishin this weekend if the lakes don't freeze.

If you wanna tye with materials such as bucktail or marabou, u need to buy some 3/0 thread and a ceramic bobbin at bass pro shops or a fly shop.

I fish for bass and trout already, but i thought it would be neat to fish for some difficult game fish.

Has anybody fished for either of these fish at the lakes there?
