Plastics
I put Zoom Trick Worms and most of my curly tail worms in the slots of the plastic box that fits in the soft tackle bag. Works fine and makes them easier to get. As for Chompers... I leave them in the bag. Those things stink worse than my mother in law's armpits. But the bass sure seem to like em.

Roadwarrior-True patron and bud
I don't want to spoil the parade, but I heard RoadWarrior drinks a lot and thinks old people smell funny. No wait, that's me. RW is alright. 8-)

Who is your fav pro bass fisherman
Roland Martin. I heard he once turned down a "Make A Wish" kid because he was too busy. Now that's a dedicated fisherman.

Boat Speed Limits-Your Opinion?
The jetskie was invented by Satan.

What is best?
Your basic T-rig: The picture shows my favorite, a Zoom Trick Worm (green pumpkin) - 1/0 worm hook - 1/16 black bullet weight.

I totally agree on the 2500 model. Anything smaller is just too dinky and fragile. And check out Daiwa as well as Shimano. (I personally prefer Daiwa, but they are pretty dang similar)

Family fishing club...
I don't have any kids, but if I did, I'd probably go fishing to get away from them.

Rank of lakes?
Ever since they drained the lake and killed off the hydrilla, the fishing has gotten a lot tougher in West Toho. Now it's all tight cover type of fishing. Flippin and stuff. 3+ years ago, I had my best stringer ever from Toho ... 19 lbs! Last year, I fished there and got skunked. :-/

Boat Speed Limits-Your Opinion?
Even safe JETSKIES are the most annoying machines on the planet. Engine throttle up - engine throttle down. Then back up - then down again. OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER ..... all over the lake. The whole time the driver is screaming "WEEEEEE, look at meeee! I have no reason to be on the water!!!! I'm just a jerkkkkk! WEEEEEE!" I love jetskiers. Who wouldn't want to listen to that all day?

Unless you're dead set on a baitcaster, I'd recomend a spinning reel set up. (I prefer the longer long rod - 7' or longer ... you can cast light baits further) Colors don't matter.... much. Buy what you like and then see what you gain confidence in. I prefer natural looking colors because I mostly fish clear water. Scents .... I don't buy them, anymore. I've fished with em and without em, I couldn't tell a difference, except in my wallet. I do recomend Chompers which has a potent scent already built in.

I finally did it!!!
Yep. But did you see what Bass Pro Shops is asking for a new boat? A dinky jon boat with no trolling motor and small little outboard? You'd have to have money to burn to buy any boat from them, IMO. I'll stick with used boats for the time being. Like I did and like benzo did, there are a lot of pretty good deals out there.

I finally did it!!!
2 batteries obviously means it's 24 volts and my guess would be it's 45 lb thrust. Your trolling motor looks EXACTLY like the old Motor Guide I used to have. Mine eventually died and I replaced it with a junky old used 12 volt 30 lb motor .... that just ain't enough. I need a little more power to motor through the thick vegetation and for when the wind is blowing pretty hard. My old motor was perfect. I'd like to buy a new one, but good lord, the prices on those things are ridiculous.

How much thrust on the trolling motor?

I finally did it!!!
Looks like it's in pretty good shape. Nice boat. From my experience, the good thing about buying a used boat is a year or two after you buy it, you can turn around and sell it for nearly what you paid for it. They don't depreciate all that fast if you keep them in good condition and didn't overpay to begin with. When I go down to Bass Pro Shops to buy tackle, I like to take a look at the prices on the boats they're selling... Unbelievable. They want over $10,000+ for a small aluminum bass tracker with a little 30 hp engine. : Give me a break. What sucker are they selling that too? Below is a picture of a boat I just looked up for sale at Bass Pro Shops. Listing price: $11,295. :

Boat Speed Limits-Your Opinion?
The only new law I'd be in favor of is BANNING jetskies. Those $%#@#'s have no business being on the water. >

Does anyone have a stereo in their bass boat?
My old Bass Tracker came with a radio.... which was broken. So I replaced it. The only times I use it is when.... #1 My Dolphins or Gators are playing. #2 I'm fishing while my g/f is laying out. #3 I'm fishing alone and I want to listen to talk radio. That's about it. Most of the time, I never touch it. If I could go back, I would have bought the cheap digital radio instead of the cheaper radio with knobbs. :

Who is the better fisherman?
I'm in a local 20 boat club. I agree that it's still just weekend warrior type fishing. What I mostly get out of it is being forced to fish lakes that I would normally never go to and learning to fish different types of cover. It has certainly improved my skills. The best thing about fishing tournaments is if you catch a 3 lber while recreational fishing, you'll say... "eh nice fish". But if you catch that 3 lber during a tournament (even a small one) and you're thinking HELL YES!!! It makes everything more exciting. Even the barely legal fish.

Should I stay or should I go?
"Cypress Lake".... that's not Lake Cypress in Florida, is it?

thunderstorms in the forecast, do you fish?
Living in Florida, I've fished in some nasty lightning. I always say I feel like Ben Franklin flying a kite when I cast my line with a metal hook attacked to the end, while the sky is lighting up all around me. I've seen deafening lighting strikes hit the ground less than a quarter mile away. You instictivly drop down when it cracks that loud and close as if that's somehow going to save you. It scares you to the bone. I feel brave afterwards, but in reality it's more of a combo of being stupid and flat out lucky. :-/

Should guides fish?
I'm not a guide. But often I feel like one when I take newbies fishing. Especially in the salt-water - Tying hooks. Untying knotts. Baiting hooks. Positioning and anchoring. Advising.... etc. When I finally get a break, I get to cast one out myself. But if I hired a guide to help me catch say, a tarpon, I'd definately not want him fishing.
